Terrible! AVOID
Our cabin wreaked of cigarettes!! So bad when we left places our clothes and luggage lingered with us the whole way! So gross. The cabin was unclean, with old soap in the shower and misc garbage found in spots. Blankets had cigarette burn holes in them! Stayed during a mostly empty weekend, could not be transferred to an identical vacant cabin like ours anywhere around. Terrible communication, terrible experience. Please take your family anywhere else in the great Smokies!

This was the absolute cutest cabin, quiet and peaceful. We spent most the weekend in the hot tub the back porch was hidden and private. Only problem we had was we only had one wash cloth for two people. When I messaged the manager she told me they only supply starter towels, in which I returned with another email that although we share a lot of things in life BO and skin was not one we shared on purpose. She did send some cleaning people to take the towels out of the cabin next to us to give to us. So we didn’t have to share BO and skin thankfully. We read reviews before coming so we brought charcoal and wood to burn our own spices. The ice maker did not have a container to catch the ice so we didn’t use that while we was there. Both pigeon forge and gatlingburg was about 20/30 mins away with traffic. We enjoyed our weekend.
Camera on porch where hot tub and rockers are, no privacy. Husband walked around cabin and realized there was a basement to our cabin and the door was wide open. He went to close the door and instantly got talked through on the camera on the back side of the cabin. We must have been on surveillance 24/7. Made us wonder if they had cameras on inside of cabin. Checked out of cabin, still had 2 nights of rental left. Was told to cancel 2 nights but site would not allow us and no refund.

It was tricky to find. Drove passed it the first time. There are small annoyances, such as no hook for towels in bathroom, windows were very dirty, curtains in bedroom are very thin, no mat at door etc.
This cabin is as basic as a cabin gets. No frills. To start the rental was easy. Communication was fine. Directions were lacking a bit but we made it. The cabin exterior is nice. Pic online shows you what you get. Door code was a little bothersome. I won’t explain it but just know it leaves you feeling a little uneasy about your belongings and safety. Upon entering you see a small living room area with a futon as a couch. Very, very uncomfortable. Nice big flat screen TV. Fire place is nice but no tools (poker) to assist with moving wood. No way to clean up ashes. AC in living room only. The entire cabin had curtains but no blinds. At night you can see right in. Kitchen was fine. However, a few plates, a few pots some silverware and a few glasses. They went as cheap as they could on these items and provide very little. A used sponge on sink and one kitchen towel. Fridge works well. No ice maker. One small
Ice tray. Moving to bedroom. Bed is a mattress on a metal frame. No box spring. Wasn’t awful but expected better. No TV in bedroom. Only heater was in bedroom. If you want the living room warm you have to sweat in the bedroom. Bathroom was clean but simple. Water was nice and hot. Deck was fine but the whole thing is basically dug into the hillside so the view of dirt was less than appealing. Could see some mountains on the one end but in the summer you won’t see a thing. Hot tub was nice, clean and worked well. Overall you get what you pay for I guess. It’s a shame that we paid what we did for this cabin and spent the same a few years ago on a two story, really nice cabin with so much more. I didn’t expect this cabin to be the best as the price was on the low end but a little upgrades would make this place so much nicer. An actual couch, fire place tools, some kitchen items, nicer towels, a box spring, a TV in the bedroom and please add a dryer at least. No way to dry the small cheap towels after a shower or a soak in the hot tub. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $100-$150 for the weekend and get a nicer cabin.
The cabin was cute and clean, the hot tub…not so much. The hot tub water had a green tint. There was scum around the water level and under the water as well. Heather was great and sent someone out right away. We had gone into town and were not there when housekeeping came. They said they drained the tub and cleaned. We had to wait until the next day because the water was to cold. In broad daylight we could see that only area around the water level was scrubbed. There was still scum on the surface under the water. Thick enough we could actually see it. Even with well water, the water should not have a green tint. Very disappointing since we searched specifically for a cabin with a hot tub. The pillows need to be replaced as well. They all were very flat except for one spare in the closet. Again, Heather was quick to respond and I feel did all she could. The cabin itself was great. Just the right size for a weekend getaway.
this cabin is smaller than what it looks in pictures. There’s only 1 wall AC unit for the whole cabin so it stays pretty warm. The cabin had an old odor to it. There was no T.V. in the bedroom. There was water damage to the ceiling outside. The bathroom was super small and hard to get ready in. Parking is a little tight so I wouldn’t recommend bringing a truck. Google Maps brought us through a back way so the directions we were given were not helpful. Overall for a weekend get away it’s not that bad of a cabin.
Great place for couples to have a nice, quiet time together. Away from the bustle and at the same time close to many attractions all over the smoky mountains. easy check in/out process. Good communication with property contact. We really enjoy our stay and want to be back already.
Only two problems, bed springs are broken and mattress is in bad need to be replaced. The couch is hard to sit on because it’s so hard and being a tall person it’s very difficult to get off because it’s so low tot the floor.

Thank you for your feedback and your patience during your stay….the bed was broken and has been changed.
The cabin was nice. The checkin process was seem less and communication with the property manager was good. The only issue with the cabin was the bed. The mattress is way overdue to be replaced. It was not supportive whatsoever and definitely was suffering from the “taco” effect due to excessive wear. I recommend that the property owner replace immediately.
This was a great stay! The owner was awesome! They were kind enough to let us reschedule with no extra fees as there was a good bit of snow during our original dates. The only complaint we had regarding the whole experience was that the hot tub did not seem to get hot enough for our liking, but that is of course a personal preference thing. Very clean and cozy place.
Our cabin trip was last week but wish we were back! Because of covid reasons, we brought our own plateware/silverware. There is a large roku tv for you to stream on any platform like netflix, hbo max, etc. Hot tub was amazing and very relaxing. The last few minutes of the drive to the cabin consists of windy roads so drive with caution. Other than that, we ran into no issues and the cabin was a cute, small place for a couple's trip! We would 10/10 recommend!

Quarantine Stay
It was a nice relaxing stay within 20 mins Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I would have liked the check-in process sent 24 hrs in advance not
morning of leaving. Recommend bringing your own paper plates, you only get two glass set of dishes. No baking pans 9x13 just cookie sheet. If like eating out the whole time your good. However, for those staying in and missing crowd, pack like you are camping. We did... it was a nice stay, would stay again.

Great Getaway
It was a pretty great vacation for me and my girlfriend. Some of the dishes were still a little dirty, but that’s what you get in the middle of the woods. Would recommend bringing stuff to do your dishes and make sure you have everything you need for cooking in case they don’t have it.

Jordan,
Thank you for your experience and feedback.
Nice and remote, but plan on taking your own kitchen supplies! I have been a FCS teacher for 30 years this is no way near a basic kitchen set up. The whole point of getting away during COVID was to be remote and not have to eat out, we brought some stuff, but not near enough. (mixing bowls, measuring/basic utensils, trash bags, aluminum foil...?)
