Very private location. Clean and cozy. well equipped with everything you could need and more. Nice outdoor space with grill, fire pit, deck. Short drive to stores and restaurants if you need. Easy drive to Asheville and reasonable distance to Mt Mitchell, Biltmore Estate and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Good communication with the host.Great getaway for my wife and I!

The hosts were really nice and very accommodating with an issue that we had with the shower and tub drain. They worked as quickly as possible to resolve the issue. The house is nice with a fantastic view out front! Furnishings to make you feel at home. Dog friendly and TVs in each room, and the beds were all very comfortable. Only negative feedback/heads up for the next guests is the house is older which makes for very noisy (squeaky) floors, the bathroom is also VERY small and they do not have mattress protectors under the sheets which I found odd for a place of lodging. The blinds are older and do not fit the windows (too small), allowing a lot of light in and some of the blinds are broken and won't stay up when closed to provide privacy, especially in the bathroom window which is shared with the back mud room. The driveway is dangerous to get in and out of as it's on a sharp turn and the locals drive very fast through there, so be careful! We found that the driveway was very narrow and we ended up backing in each time to make it safer to leave. Aside from the bathroom, all the rooms are spacious and sleeps 8 people comfortably not counting the large sofa sectional. Would we come back? Unfortunately probably not due to the driveway and not much flat yard for our toddler to play in as the house sits on a hill. It truly is a peaceful place and area though, just doesn't really fit our families needs. But for the price it's worth it.
