The Retreat on Rice was perfect in every way. The house was adorable and very comfortable. Our communication with Jessy was easy along with our check in. I would highly recommend this retreat and we hope to stay again when we return to Cynthiana.

Absolutely adorable place! The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking conveniences. The king bed is a sleep number to adjust to your comfort. The covered porches allow for relaxation and country sounds. It is a busy road during the day, just a kind wave from the residents makes it feel like home.

Just spent 2 weeks at Retreat on Rice and could not have asked for a nicer place! It is a very relaxing, gorgeous little home and Jessy was the most accommodating host you could ever ask for. We will return most definitely!

Beautiful place to spend two nights and just a 4 mile drive to the Harrison-Cynthiana airport. The design, furnishings, decor, lighting, cleanliness and comfort all high end and user friendly. Room darkening curtains, coffee with k kups, and an easy to memorize key code all were little extras that were appreciated. The guest book was a personal touch. The bed was very comfortable. It is located in a rural area and so peaceful but there is some noise from loud vehicles but not constant. There are some good restaurants in town and driving throughout the area certainly is beautiful. We definitely will hopefully rent this again next year for the same special event.

Beautiful cozy cottage. This place has everything you need to settle in. Close to Lexington area. Very quiet and extremely comfortable. Roomy enough to spread out and call it home for a night or two, or multiple weeks. Wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely going to come back when work brings me to this area. Love it so much!!! Book this place!! You will not be disappointed!

We were in town for a long weekend to celebrate our granddaughters first birthday and this home was perfect for us, we were close to family and close to downtown Cynthiana. The home was very welcoming, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The owners were very hospitable and easy to communicate with.The attention to detail really made us feel at home. I cannot recommend this place enough, you will feel at home the minute you pull up to the house.

2nd time around and still my favorite place around. This place is home for a night or multiple nights. If it’s available book it. You will not be disappointed. Stayed for a weekend trip to Gorge. It’s a bit of a drive but well worth it. Definitely coming back.
