Home away from home

Amazing... Lots of space! Plenty of parking. Brought the kids down to the beach and enjoyed the park pool in the afternoon. Took the boys fishing, went through the trail, enjoyed the kayaks on the water, and is super close to lots of restaurants and OWA... Highly recommend for a weekend getaway to bring the family and have fun!

Great family getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is newly renovated and they did a great job making it feel spacious and homey! We spent a weekend there with several adults and kids and everyone enjoyed their time! It’s about a 20 minute drive to the beach which is good because it’s far enough away from the tourism! Our favorite part was cooling off in the pool after a long sandy day at the beach. The back porch is a nice place to sit and have coffee and gather with friends/family. We will definitely be going back!

If you bring a boat, make sure to organize parking beforehand. It states parking for two cars and a boat, but the boat cannot be stored at the house. Also there is a low bridge, so you may not fit under the bridge to reach the bay. The host organized storage for us in the complex after the local hoa folks came and complained as we were parking at the house. Was some unneeded uncomfortable moments.

I do apologize for the misunderstanding about the boat and parking. There is a place to park the boat just not at the house and yes you do have to watch the tide to make sure it is low tide to go out to the international waters. I am grateful for your understanding and working with me on the arrangements during your stay. Sorry about the neighbors.

Only problem I had was being accused of having a pet with us which we did not have and misunderstanding I needed to call the owner to check in.Also the towels were put in the bathroom closet still very damp so the cleaning person didn’t wait for them to get completely dry before folding and putting them up.
