Welcome to Condo 12C in Deerfield Resort. Condo 12C is a top floor penthouse end unit. It is located at the highest point in Deerfield giving magnificent views of Norris Lake and Cumberland Mountains. Overlooking the Championship Bobby Clampett Greens at Deerfield’s 18 Hole Golf Course. Easy walk to Deerfield private airstrip for pilots to fly in to enjoy their stay. A short walk or drive takes you to the largest TVA Lake – Norris Lake with depths of over 200 feet. Norris Lake has over 34,000 acres of water for the ultimate playground! Norris Lake is perfect for water skiing, fishing, swimming, and boating. You will find lots of coves on Norris to anchor boat and play with lots of privacy. Deerfield Resort is over 1000-acre peninsula that is across from the rustic Chuck Swan Nature Preserve. The Preserve is home of wildlife as well as home to great white bald eagles, owls, and deer. Don’t forget to bring your camera for lots of shots of deer, which freely roam in Deerfield. Deerfield is a private exclusive resort that is nestled in the Cumberland Mountains at the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. Deerfield is located to the north of Knoxville, east of I-75. Deerfield Resort not only is proud of their championship golf course, we offer children’s playground, swimming pool, tennis and pickle ball courts, sand volleyball and basketball court. The Greens at Deerfield offer a full-service restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. Pizza carryout is offered in the evenings. Top off your day by stopping in at our own Tiki Club at the Deerfield Cove. Offering a full-service bar as well as lunch and dinner. Games and live entertainment on the weekends. Try out your skills at hula-hoop or line dancing. Relax to sips and sounds at Chapman Winery right outside the resort! See and taste wines made right here! Boat slips are available to rent for an additional charge of $55 per night. Must be reserved in advance and are on availability only. Trailer parking is available – please notify us before arrival. Condo 12C sleeps 9 guests comfortably – adults, children over 3. Condo is great for 3 couples as well. Master Bedroom 1 on 2nd floor is an oversized Ensuite bedroom with king bed, walk out to private deck, TV, huge bath with shower and whirlpool bath. Bedroom 2 – Ensuite with queen bed, TV, large bath with whirlpool bath and shower, walk out to deck. Bedroom 3 – Queen bunk bed with twin top – next to full bath with tub Living room has large sectional with pull out sleeper, large screen TV and DVD player, walk out to large deck overlooking Norris Lake and Greens of Deerfield, perfect for relaxing, sunning or grilling on gas grill. Home has dining room and fully equipped kitchen and small deck off kitchen. Free WIFI and Direct TV offered. All services at Deerfield and 12C are seasonal. Thank you for your comment. Steps are a challenge for some. However it is clearly marketed as a second floor condo which is considered the “penthouse”. The view from this condo and the noise reduction from being a top level condo make climbing steps worthwhile. We are glad you enjoyed your stay.

Average older condo.

Condo has great views overlooking golf course and bay. Many small things were not taken care of. Grill was rusty, not cleaned and unusable. Coffee maker was old and did not work well. Spots on the carpet. Rooms were spacious. Master bedroom floors creaked horribly and was very annoying. Would look for something newer and better next time.

We are so sorry for your problems while staying at the condo. The coffee makers both pod and carafe were both put in unit this season. The grill was cleaned personally by owner, used in rental before you by owner. The carpeting was cleaned less than one month ago along with sofa. The condo is restocked each season as needed with new dishware, flatware and other supplies. Stainless steel appliances were installed this season. We supply renters with phone number so we are ready to take care of needs ASAP. We didn’t hear anything from you during your stay. We hope you continue returning to Norris Lake.

Great location

First off the condo is stocked much better than she leads you to believe in the description. She has tons of kitchen hand towels, pot holders, dishes, cookware, glasses, etc. The description leads you to believe that it is bare-bones, but that is simply not the case. The kitchen has everything you need and then some. They had extra rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags and we had no issue with the trash. I thought we might since she mentioned several times how the trash can not weigh more than 15lbs?? Very odd...but we just walked our trash out to the trash can with no issue. She is correct they DO NOT provide towels, washcloths, or handtowels . Also, note the coffee maker takes the large cone filters. These are not provided and they do not sell the cone filters at the local store at the bottom of the hill. This was never mentioned and since most coffee pots use round filters we had the wrong ones. Also, the beds make a crunchy sound when you roll over or move on the bed at all. So if you light sleeper this will drive you nuts. The condo is in a fantastic area and the view from our deck was outstanding. There was a huge fireworks show that was put on by the homeowners association and we had the best seat in the house right on the deck. The inside of the condo is very dated-looking but functional. We spent 95% of our time out on the lake so the aesthetics weren't that much of an issue. I will say the beds make a crunchy sound then you roll over or move on the bed at all. So if you light sleeper that will drive you nuts. Overall though a good trip!

Family get-a-way

We definitely enjoyed this spacious 3br/3bath condo, and the view can't be beat! We appreciated the quiet and private area. Each of our three families had their own private space which was great! The full deck was well appointed. It's ideal for adults who enjoy to eat in as the kitchen is fully stocked with everything to prepare a full meal, coctails, and dessert! My personal preference is to have a higher deck rail, and a hand rail at the front exterior which is easy to grab. These are not the property owner's responsibility, however. We would rent again!

Very nice, would stay again

Property is clean and ample room for 2 families to stay in which is what we had. View was beautiful and lake was beautiful. Owners were VERY responsive and helpful throughout the stay. Would recommend.

Spacious Condo

This condo was much larger than we expected. Plenty of open floor space and big rooms. The view is amazing as it looks over the Deerfield Resort to an amazing sunrise. You can also enjoy the sunset on the front porch. The welcome package was a nice surprise too!
