For the most part a decent place to stay but some constructive criticism would be to upgrade the outdoor grill and maybe add a dishwasher. Otherwise was okay.
This is the second year in a row we’ve stayed at the wine down cabin and both times were excellent. We had parents and grandparents and it was a great stay!

Eric, thank you so much for your stay. We hope to see you soon in the future. Thank you!
Was great cabin perfect wrap around porch to sit and listen to the thunderstorm while was there, bottom of driveway was an adventure to get up but was worth it, would definitely stay again
Two couples enjoyed our stay at Wine Down. The fire pit and hot tub were great bonuses. We called the host for a question and he answered right away. Thanks for a great stay!
We enjoyed staying at this cozy cabin! Beds are very comfortable and enjoyed hanging out on the porch. We drove a small suv and got in and out of driveway just fine. Would love to come back!
We had a great stay. It was perfect for our family of five. The location was convenient for us. It was close to Broken Bow Lake and Hochatown and located in a quiet neighborhood. The driveway is steep and doesn’t have much parking space, but we were able to fit two vehicles. We would definitely stay there again.
We enjoyed our stay so much at this cabin! The Host was very responsive when we would message her. We didn’t have any problems at all while we were staying. The beds were amazing and my children really enjoyed each having their own space. The balcony at night and early morning is so peaceful. Perfect distance between Hochatown and Broken Bow! Would absolutely recommend this place and when we head back this way, this will be our go to home ❤️

Thank you! We enjoyed hosting you. Please come back and stay for a long time.
Overall really enjoyed the property. Very cute cabin. The driveway is very steep as noted. A few things, when we arrived there were wet towels in the dryer. We restarted a few times but towels didn't seem to dry. Could have been on the wrong setting but no biggie, we brought our own towels. The toilet in the bathroom was clogged and used plunger to no avail. Just ended up using hallway bathroom.
Overall the cabin was super cute, clean, the hot tub was a plus and having a nice deck to enjoy the scenery was very nice.
Some essentials are missing. The listing showed a charcoal grill and on arrival it was propane. We had only brought steaks to grill and we only had items for charcoal grill since it was listed. I messaged the host about the propane being out, I got a vague reason for there being none. I couldn’t cook them inside because there was no olive oil or cooking spray for the pans that the coating was coming off of by the way. Also the first cabin that didn’t have salt and pepper. Our stay was just okay.
It is a beautiful cabin but needs a little up keep. There were a few bulbs out on the porch lights, the instructions on the fridge for check out did not match the ones I was sent in an email, it listed there is a sofa bed but it was not arranged upstairs for the sofa bed to be used (it is small and there is not enough room For the bed and sofa bed), and the oven did not work upon arrival. The oven was also not able to be fixed so we had to eat meals out when we had purchased groceries and planned to cook at the cabin. I did get a small refund for the inconvenience of the oven not working but I had to bargain with the owner for it. It was a beautiful cabin, beautiful area, and we had a great time overall.

Not the best guest to have at your cabin. Things happen with appliances and we did our best to accommodate her and provided her the amount she wanted. We got a maintenance person out there the very next day for the oven and he couldn’t fix it. Even after that she wrote a bad review. There are some people that will not be understanding no matter how you try to salvage a situation. We will not be hosting this guest again in the future. Thanks.

At least the cleaning service came
The location was not what was pictured. The driveway was extremely steep, no warning, and not enough room for 3 cars. We had to park one car in town. The cabin had started to be cleaned but wasn't finished. All dirty bedding was still on the floors. Floors unswept, Dishes were washed but food still in sink.Host was rude when I reached out and said my stay wasn't on the calendar so the cleaning service didn't come. They did come, thankfully but we had to go out to dinner while they cleaned. We didn't get to cook the steaks we had brought. The hot tub was cleaned last and never got to temperature. The hot tube was a big reason we picked this rental. No discount was given. I still paid the cleaning fee.

Disappointed
This site was a disappointment. Information regarding the steep and curved driveway was not given out until days before arrival. It definitely was not a drive I would back up at night. Then, the code we were given to open the door did not work. We had to call to get another code to open the lockbox for a key which was the "only one" . Inconvenient. Inside there were no throws or additional blankets for the beds, and no rugs. The cleaning fee was larger than we usually pay but there were black hairs in the bathtub and spider webs in the area in front of the shower bathroom. The photos online made the indoor space appear larger than it actually was.

Susan, thank you for your input. Usually guests have not had any issues with the driveway, since it is in the hills. As far as the door goes, the lock's battery ran out but we provided you with keys instantly. May not have been as easy as punching in a code, but batteries do run out sometimes. We have plenty of throws, blankets etc. And there are rugs on the floor. Not really sure what you were expecting, but those pictures are available with the rugs. The cleaners do a great job of cleaning, but we are in a place where we have trees. Spiderwebs are formed pretty fast, sometimes overnight. But we'll keep doing a great job of making sure cabin is in best shape for guests. The cabin does state it can fit 6 guests and has two bedrooms. I don't know how big you expected it, but it's clearly listed there. Hope you have better luck at the next cabin, but our guests are very happy when they visit our cabin. Thanks.
