The amenities were ideal for a family group. In our case we had grandparents, grown up children and spouses and three grandchildren. The grandchildren loved the garden spaces, trampoline and play house. The place was indeed a retreat.

The property was absolutely gorgeous and just what we were after for our family get together. It was well set up inside to cater to our needs. We loved the outdoor entertaining area, visiting the pig and chickens and wandering through the garden. The fireplaces on each level and in the outdoor area was enjoyed as well. We also really appreciated all the extra touches- arriving to the fire going, games/drawing for our grandson, a giant welcome cookie and chocolates on each bed. Highly recommend staying here!
