The home was very nice and comfortable. It’s right off 101 and so was very easy to find. The lake is calm and peaceful, and a night you can hear frogs, crickets, and the ocean. The primary suite is stunning, with a view of the lake. We really enjoyed our time!
This was a great house for our family of 6 adults, a baby, and two small dogs. The rooms are nice, particularly the primary bathroom! "Lakefront" is a bit misleading... the lake is hidden behind shrubs and vegetation and only partially visible from the primary bedroom window. But at least there isn't another home right behind. The proximity to Hwy 101 does give some automobile noise, but it isn't bad. The walk to the beach is very easy, literally two blocks away and through a narrow path, with a signal to cross the highway safely. Proximity to town is really great, too! The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and small appliances, and Dollar General at the north end of town is where you can buy foil, containers for leftovers, etc. There was no hair dryer, and the property management did not remedy this during our stay, so maybe pack one just in case. Also, if the wifi doesn't work, try the other available one...that was our experience. All in all, a really good house in a great location for your Oregon Coast trip!
