Our large extended family group really enjoyed our stay. The home was spacious, clean, well equipped and within walking distance of the local beaches. Loved the layout and great outdoor space where we enjoyed being able to BBQ. We hope we can stay again!

Excellent stay which exceeded our expectations! The house was perfect with everything we needed and the host was friendly and easy to get in touch with. We really enjoyed the location as it is close to beaches and a short walk to the local restaurants and bar. Thank you!

We were in Auckland for a family event with a mixed group using the house. It was perfect for us and the owner went above and beyond to welcome us and have everything we needed. It was kinda neat to stay in a place that was such an original bach, especially as we were reminiscing of our early life living in a very similar house. This one was much nicer. The house was perfectly placed for us to visit things around the 'shore.Thank you for having us.

The house was well equipped, had everything we needed to stay the week with 3 adults and 2 Children. Clean and tidy but lacking style, its quite old and cold without heaters going. The main bedroom downstairs really needs a new mattress, it was hard and boney. I feel it was overpriced for what you get but its all I could find close to the children's school for their final week in NZ before heading off overseas. Would I stay again? only if it was greatly reduced in price.

Thank you for your feedback. Respectfully, your expectation of the property at our affordable, low price point is unreasonable. The property is advertised as a 70’s build and while it has a renovated bathroom, it carries a 70’s vibe and is priced accordingly. If you are looking for luxury or 5 star accommodation our property isn’t the right fit for you. We are generous with heating/cooling as there is an extra large central heat pump and stand alone heaters in each of the four bedrooms, so guests can be as warm (or cool) as they want to be. I take you point regarding the downstairs queen mattress, which is firm. We selected it to provide choice, as the upstairs queen mattress is soft. However, we have now added a memory foam topper to the downstairs mattress to ensure it is also soft. Thank you for confirming the home is well equipped, clean, tidy and presented with care.
