Hello, it was lovely stay and area, we just found a few things that could have been improved. I thought I should pass on in case it’s helpful. My partner injured himself on the sharp plants outside and my dad on the stair handrail twice as the edges of the wood are quite sharp. The yard had a lot of old dried dog poo so I picked up some of it from high traffic areas so that we were less likely to keep stepping in it and so that our dog could explore the yard. The iron at the property does not work. And a small improvement could be to leave a few more supplies for longer stays ie toilet paper and dishwashing tablets - we only had enough for two or three nights. It was lovely otherwise, we especially enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the birds at sunset, very special. Thanks again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay overall, particularly relaxing on the deck and watching the birds at sunset. It’s always lovely to hear that guests appreciate that aspect of the property. We’re sorry to hear about the injuries mentioned and have since checked the stair handrail and surrounding plants. However, the handrail has not been an issue prior for cleaners or guests, and the plants are quite low to the ground so they don't pose a serious risk to injuries as you would need to lean down to reach them. That said, we do appreciate you raising your concerns and will continue to monitor these areas. Regarding the yard, the droppings you noticed were most likely from local wombats, as there are many in the area, rather than dog waste. Nevertheless, we will ensure the outdoor area continues to be checked as part of our regular property inspections. Thank you for letting us know about the iron. Had we been informed during your stay, we would have been more than happy to assist or arrange a replacement at the time. In relation to supplies, the property is stocked with starter amounts of essentials such as toilet paper and dishwashing tablets, in line with standard short-stay accommodation practices. We appreciate your suggestion and understand how additional supplies can be helpful for longer stays. Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback, and for choosing to stay with us!
