Our stay at the Ivy House was wonderful! Sandra was a delightful, responsive host and the property was lovely, charming, and exceptionally clean. It was fun reading about the past for the historic farm house, especially since the kitchen and interior felt so modern and updated. Our stay was very comfortable, and there were so many beaches, parks, and great restaurants to explore in the Empire area. We'd definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend it.

This beautifully restored farmhouse was the perfect quiet getaway for 6 of us coming from different corners of the states. This house was remarkably clean, the kitchen was stocked with all the dishware and cookware we could use, and outdoors we had shaded space for long conversations. We would return in a minute. We enjoyed the beach in Empire, wine tasting on the Old Mission peninsula and a day at the Dennos Museum in Traverse City.

Quiet, Peaceful and Convenient

Our stay was great! The house has been lovingly restored, in a quiet location that’s great to get to both Traverse City and Sleeping Bear. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen is well appointed and owner is easy to contact. Had a great stay!

Long weekend stay

Absolutely loved the farmhouse and it was perfect for our family! Great location close to Sleeping Dunes, the beach, Traverse city, wineries, and great Polish shop! Would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Ivy house. We came up to the area for a family wedding. The house was clean and convenient to everything in the area. We had a wonderful day at the Empire beach. I would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Our large family enjoyed a great time together in the Sleeping Bear Dunes region. The Ivy House was the perfect place for us to stay. It was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed and more.
