The property was once an equestrian farm with lovely preserved stone buildings. It is named for an historic old mulberry tree in the open court and includes 16 hectares of olive groves, bridges over a small brook, and walking and biking trails. Less than two km to Izzalini, with one of the area's finest restaurant/bars, castle, antique mart and bakery; 12 km to the center of historic hilltop Todi, and many castles and villages to explore nearby. A well-stocked village grocery is a 5 minute drive, with other major shopping facilities near Todi. Around 35 minutes from Perugia airport, accessed by flights from London, Brussels, Munich and Barcelona with other new flights added in 2023) and 1.5 hours by car from Fiumicino Rome airport. Direct buses also run between Fiumicino, Rome, Perugia and Todi. Antica Chiesa is a perfect location to visit excellent wineries and explore the nearby towns of Umbria and Tuscany: Assisi, Cortona, Orvieto, Montefalco, Spoleto, Gubbio, Siena, Perugia and Florence.
