Really enjoyed staying here with my family during our visit to muskoka. Property was clean and spacious. You can swim right off the dock. Host did a great job communicating and accommodating us.
We spent 4 nights in August, and despite the rainy weather we had a lovely stay. The property is right on the water and the kids swam in the lake every day. The house is cozy and open concept in the main area. The kitchen had all the dishes and amenities that one would expect, and the hosts acted promptly and came by on Saturday evening when there was a noticeable problem with the septic system and they thankfully resolved the issue. Some of the feedback we would have liked to have seen an improvement would be the beds; specifically the one my wife and I slept in on the main level. It was very hard and kept us from having a good nights sleep. Apart from the beds, the mirrors and windows were all quite foggy, and the eaves troughs being full of pine needles and leaves were overflowing with the amount of rain. None of these minor issues stopped us from enjoying our time, and we would certainly recommend this lakeside cottage to future travellers!
