Great cabin. Beautiful views. Great location near the parkway
Great cabin. Beautiful views. Great location near the parkway. Lots of fun stuff to do nearby. Great location for the Cal Ripken tournament. We had 8 people in the unit and had plenty of room , space and bathrooms. Used xplorie to get our free tickets and saved a bunch on activities.

Cabin was as described. Had a few issues with a couple lights and no internet service for the entire stay which meant no tv. Plenty of room for everyone to stay comfortably

Best regards,
We used this cabin as a meeting point with our young adult children. The kitchen was well stocked to make a Thanksgiving meal. The bedroom layouts allowed almost all to have their own room and the room with the bunks was large enough for two adult males to share. They enjoyed the pool table, arcade, hot tub, and large TV screens. The view was spectacular. Parking was flat and it was easy access to the Parkway.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're delighted to hear that our cabin provided the perfect meeting spot for your family Thanksgiving. It’s wonderful to know the kitchen had everything you needed for your holiday meal and that the bedroom layouts worked so well for everyone.
We're especially glad your family enjoyed the pool table, arcade, hot tub, and large TVs, as well as the spectacular view! Convenient parking and easy access to the Parkway are certainly bonuses, and we’re thrilled they added to your stay.
We’d love to host you again for more family gatherings and special moments!
Warm regards,
This is a great property and the views are just as pictured, if not better. The location was ideal for us, only a few minutes from the Parkway and accessible to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Our kids loved using the pool table, hot tub, video game machine and theater. While it was a little tight, we were able to fit 14 in the house, including 6 kids. The house was well maintained and when we did have issues, their management company responded quickly to fix them.

Thanks so much for your review and I am glad you had a great stay.
A higher calling cabin has a perfect mountain range view. Absolutely gorgeous. Cabin very clean, accessible, family room space a little
small for family gathering in one room, but we managed. Mattresses very uncomfortable would definitely upgrade if possible. Also, need more linens available. Great handicap accessibility with ramp, walk in shower and bedroom on main floor. Overall, great cabin and location.
Cabin was as described and views were breathtaking. Plenty of room to spread out and loved that there was dual air conditioning settings on the bottom and second floors. Management company was thorough and answered all questions. I did give this a five star rating but I do have a few suggestions…speak to your cleaning crew about cobwebs on light fixtures, replace or refinish the chairs on the bottom deck, and definitely fix the flooring surrounding the tub in the bottom floor bathroom. It looks as though there may have been a temporary fix with the wood piece adjacent to the tub but the floor is discolored and has a lot of give to it.

The Cabin Had Issues
Pros:The view of the Smoky Mountains was absolutely beautiful, and the air conditioning worked great—both made the stay more comfortable.Cons:Unfortunately, the cabin had a number of issues. Many things were in disrepair or outdated. The Xplorie “free” benefits were misleading and not worth the mention. The gas grill was so loose it felt unsafe to use, so we didn’t. One of the more serious concerns was the flooring around the basement tub/shower—it was soft and spongy, likely from water damage. The cabin itself felt very dated, and every mattress was noisy and uncomfortable, with a plastic-like covering. After arriving, we were surprised to learn that none of the Bear Camp cabins have ice makers—something that would’ve been helpful to know ahead of time. We also couldn't unlock the door leading directly to the hot tub. On top of that, the bath towels provided were very thin and small, and the lighting throughout the cabin was poor, with several fixtures either flickering or not working at all.

Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to share your experience. We truly value all guest input as it helps us improve. We're sorry to hear that your stay didn’t meet expectations.
We take the concerns you mentioned seriously. We'll be addressing the issues with the gas grill, the flooring near the basement tub/shower, and the mattress comfort immediately. We’re also investigating the lighting issues to ensure everything is in working order. The ice maker situation and cabin amenities are valuable insights, and we’ll be sure to update our listing with more accurate details to avoid any future surprises for guests.
As for the towels and the hot tub door, we will look into these areas as well to make sure everything is up to standard. We're genuinely sorry for the discomfort this caused during your stay, and we appreciate your constructive criticism to help us make improvements.
We do hope you'll consider staying with us again so we can show you the updates we make based on your feedback. Your experience is important to us, and we’re committed to providing a better stay for all of our guests.
The view is beautiful! I would not have more than 10 people stay in this house. There’s only queen beds and the pull out couches are not sleepable. One was completely broken. Also, there’s not enough dishwasher detergent for the high number of people. There’s also nothing offered besides bad hand soap and some dish soap. No sponge, no shampoo, no salt and pepper or oil, and barley enough towels. There’s also not enough trash bags or room in the trash for that number of people.

It was ok
The cabin showed some wear and tear which means it has been loved. However, there were a few things that were frustrating. The toilet in the basement stopped flushing, so in order to flush it we had to do it manually. The microwave was hanging off one of the hinges, so it made opening and closing a pain. The overall cleanliness of the cabin was minimal. There were dust and cob webs in some of the corners throughout the house. Just made it feel like cleaning wasn’t a priority. The beds also were very noisy. You could hear every movement each person made from every floor of the house. Very disappointed that I paid a lot of money for the stay, and didn’t have the home away from home experience we wished for.

Best regards,
Overall, property was exactly as promised. Great location, in that it was close to the National Park, close to the chaos of the parkway in Pigeon Forge, but when you entered the cabin, you were transported miles away. The way they build these cabins on the steep hillside was amazing, allowing for unobstructed views but having close neighbors to keep in feeling social instead of feeling too remote. The cabin had beautiful views, plenty of space, updated decor that was in keeping with the area, and the hot tub and theater room were well used by our family. Kitchen was functional, nice plates and glasses, but no wine glasses. And, this seems so petty, but with the amount we paid for one week, and the strict rules regarding garbage, threats of extra charges if all the trash was not removed from the cabin, would it really be unreasonable for the garbage can liners to be complimentary?

Thanks for your review and I will check the garbage can liner issue. Please come back.
Overall, the house was nice and fit 14 of us. The house was located in a neighborhood of other homes which we weren’t overly fond of, but this is our fault for not researching better. The view was gorgeous from the main floor balcony. I think some changes need to be made in regards to the theater room, such as making Netflix and Hulu access available to actually watch movies in the theater chairs. I’m not sure if who cleans the house had enough time to throughly clean between the previous family and ours as we found trash in a couple of the bedrooms. The hot tub was not working when we arrived, but someone was out immediately to look at it and was fixed the next day. I can’t say we wouldn’t book this house again, but it wouldn’t be our first choice.
