Nice quiet secluded cottage. There were many extras, such as blankets, pillows, towels, etc. There were many extras in the kitchen, but some were a bit strange, such as used condiments, a half-full bottle of wine, junk drawers, plastic grocery bags hanging in the kitchen. Closets and drawers were a bit cluttered. Upstairs lighting was a bit lacking. Maintenance could be better. The painting and caulking were messy, rusty furniture outside, multiple outside lights needed new bulbs, and the sliding glass doors had locks that did not work. Used a security bar to keep shut. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, although a bit rustic and lived in.

Beautiful cabin with all the amenities. The kids had a wonderful time platoon by the stream and we saw quite a few deer from the porch. It was a wonderful place to celebrate Christmas.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We very much enjoyed staying at the cabin for our friends wine weekend. The location was perfect and very convenient to the wineries. We would love to stay here again another time.

Secluded Cabin

We enjoyed the seclusion and opportunity to watch the wildlife from the wraparound porch. Comfortable accommodations with well appointed amenities. Would stay there again.

Great location to wineries and downtown Dahlonega

Beautiful area and a nice cabin with everything you need but could use some extra cleaning and a few updates.

Much needed getaway!!

We enjoyed our stay very much!! It was very quiet and peaceful!! We got to see the hawk a couple of times, along with a fox and deer! Would definitely recommend!!

Relaxing getaway

We had an amazing four nights in the cabin. Fantastic location close to everything, yet you feel miles away from anything. Comfy bed, great deck for deer watching and loved just sitting by the fireplace. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Tranquil and remote

Beautiful, clean and remote home...far enough away to feel like you are in the middle of nowhere...but close enough to Dahlonega and Helen to enjoy some shopping/sightseeing. Highly recommend this home!

Comfortable and Peaceful Cabin

We were attending a wedding and needed a place for 2 nights near Dahlonega. This cabin was perfect because it was close to the event venue and offered us the opportunity to explore the town a little bit too. We found it to be clean, comfortable and located in a quiet and peaceful rural area.

Just Wonderful

What a perfect place to stay!!! Very comfortable and cozy and so relaxing!!! Loved sitting on the back porch listening to the creek and watching the deer!! It was majestic!!!! Can’t wait to come back!!!

Fantastic Trip

This is our second trip to this property. Our family loves the huge porch and creek. It is such a peaceful, relaxing experience. Michelle is a wonderful host. Her communication is top notch. We are already looking forward to our return next year.

Daughters of Arthritis

Our stay was enjoyable, everything we needed was there. Lack of cable news was frustrating, but we made good use of Nexflix. Morning coffee on back deck was our favorite together time of the trip. Would consider staying again.

Relaxing

Beautiful woodland view with a babbling creek, hawks, deer and turkey sightings. It was just husband & I but cabin easily sleeps 6. Enjoyed the fire pit and fire place. Check out the wineries, gold mines, Shenanigans Irish Pub, downtown Dahlonega.
