We had a wonderful stay at this cozy riverfront house in Dauphin, PA. The home was comfortable and had beautiful views of the river, making it the perfect spot for our smallmouth fishing trip with my kids and their uncle. We caught plenty of fish and made great memories. The owner was friendly, very responsive to messages, and accommodating throughout our stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year!
The view is spectacular. The house was clean with lots of room to move around. The bed was comfortable. Loved being able to see the river view from every window and room. Very relaxing vibe. A favorite place was sitting on the deck on the porch swing. Sephi is a wonderful host.
The house is peaceful, with a beautiful view of a lake, very relaxing. We enjoyed so much in the house. Everything was prepared so perfect and we can’t wait to come again.
The house is nestled right on the Susquehanna River with great views and away from heavy traffic. The house was super clean with good water pressure in the shower. The only issue we had was that the "third" bedroom was a very small room with no AC and a small daybed, which, being older gentlemen, we had to draw straws to see who got stuck with that room. The owner was very communicative throughout the process and accommodating. We were there for a fishing tournament, so we spent very little time at the house and just needed it for showers and sleep, which served our purpose.
The sunsets are amazing on the river. We used the portable fire pit supplied by the owner, sat down by river next to a nice fire. Loved the house and location.
Gorgeous views of the river, well maintained property, and a very responsive property manager. My wife and I came just to relax for a couple days and loved reading and looking out over the river. Would definitely stay again.
Second time to this property. The views are just amazing. The Susquehanna River is majestic and the house is right next to it. A few chairs, a fire, sunsets were awesome
My husband and I had a wonderful time at this vrbo. It was soooo relaxing and fun!, also it was close to Harrisburg and we were able to drive into town within 20 minutes. we found some nice restaurants and even visited the capital building.
I had the family in town for a basketball tournament. The place was great. Very clean and peaceful. We had everything we needed and the communication and responsiveness from the host was awesome. Would definitely stay again
I wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and recharge in a beautiful setting! The house blended rustic charm with modern amenities. The comfortable beds ensured we had restful nights, while the deck provided a serene spot to enjoy morning coffee. Our host was exceptional.
The homes was super clean and extremely comfortable. Beautiful views of the river very relaxing from everyday life. Only thing that was a little bummer was a better cleared out spot on the property for fishing otherwise excellent place to revisit.
We keep coming back to this amazing property and everytime we do, we wish we had come back sooner!
From the amazing views out all the windows to the lovely modern furnishings inside this historic home this is a perfect place to relax. Always spotless, and fully stocked with everything you need and more. The owner Sephi is wonderful - he makes this property even more fantastic. The local area is wonderful too - don't hesitate to book this property!
Would definitely go back again and recommend it to our friends. Highlight was the host transporting our canoes and us up river for a relaxing 2 hour trip back to the house. Thank you

Thank you Maria
It was a pleasure having you.
Hope to host you again soon!
Beautiful house with lovely artwork, only downside is the noise from nearby highway and train. The river is right out of the door and challenging to kayak.
Nature wonderland! Treehouse-like 180 degree views of the mighty Susquehanna and mountains from wrap-around windows and decks of house! Gourmet kitchen! Super cozy livingroom-dining area! Bedrooms open onto decks! Lovely designer baths! House filled with gorgeous fun art! And outdoors are numerous seating areas, terraced paths and delightful sculptures!
But above all, the owner-artist is immediately available for any questions and totally reliable, honest and very caring! We can’t wait to go back!!!
We have stayed at many properties, and this was among the best. Sephi genuinely cares about his guests' experience and was happy to help us with our kayaks and make recommendations for nearby restaurants and things to do. There is so much to rave about. The views are phenomenal - we saw bald eagles, herons, and butterflies from the deck and on a walk saw an adorable, plump woodchuck. The house is well equipped with everything you need without being crowded or cluttered. The inside is inviting, comfortable, and has stunning views of the river. The artwork in the house and on the property made it even more enjoyable. From the master bedroom we woke up to the sounds of birdsong and a view of the river. We went on a 10 mile kayaking trip one day, enjoyed the Harrisburg farmers market another day, and bicycled along the river in Harrisburg the next. There was so much more to do we wish we could stay longer. We definitely recommend this home!

only the best!
WE LOVED IT! Fantastic stay, fantastic home, fantastic host. BOOK IT!
We just returned from a great stay at this wonderful house and had the privilege to be the first renters now that it is on the market. It really is right on the river, giving you relaxing, BEAUTIFUL views. Using binoculars and the owner's telescope, I watched bald eagles, deer, egrets, herons, geese, mergansers, butterflies, trains across the river, etc. At night, I was amazed to observe details of Moon craters, weather band stripes on Jupiter, moons of Jupiter, and Saturn with its rings clearly visible. (It kept me up until 3 a.m. a couple of nights!)
Down at the shallow water's edge, I had fun skipping rocks and catching snails, tiny fish, and crayfish all with my hands. We brought kayaks from home and had great paddling fun right from the house, as well as from a spot a few miles upstream where we were dropped off. We also used tubes provided by the owner for a relaxing half-hour float downstream from a closer drop-off point.
THE HOUSE:
The home is beautiful and stylish, with modern and rustic elements and many great artistic details made by Sephi, the owner. (You'll be tempted to visit his metal art web-store!) He lives nearby and was super friendly and very responsive to any questions, needs, or suggestions. Everything was comfortable and new. Meals overlooking the water views were such a treat! Finding the house was a gem, and it was great meeting Sephi, too.
THE RIVER: As we came at the start of August, water levels were low, meaning our kayaks bumped rocks in a few spots as we came downstream. We got stuck once or twice but could push through or get out and move the boat a little, then go on.
There is a steady current, so young children need to be held onto in the water. Little "pools" or eddies behind rocks can be used for relaxing with less current, just as being close to shore means little pull. Kayaking, it's manageable even upstream.
Bring water shoes. The whole riverbed is rocky and slippery, and the walk down to the water requires footwear, too.
I met locals who were fishing for bass, though the fish could not be kept at this time of year. We saw people fishing from boats, kayaks, or by just wading in along the river, so if fishing is your thing, you can enjoy some catch-and-release or check seasonal regulations.
Two companies rent kayaks or tubes, guided excursions, and even shuttle service for use of your own kayaks: Blue Mountain Outfitters -Marysville & Susquehanna Outfitters -Wormleysburg.
GREAT Views, GREAT house!

I was honored and fortunate to have Matthew and his family as the first guests on my vrbo home. This neat, tight, sweet family was a pleasure to host!
I found Matthew to be clean, honest, straight forward and reliable. I would warmly recommend this renter for any property owner. This trustworthy, knowledgeable and patient man is also a real nice guy.
I am grateful to him and his family for taking the time and putting the effort, in suggesting a well observed and thought off list of improvements, which I followed and that would definitely benefit any future guests.
Our second visit was as amazing as the first one. Fall is a wonderful time to visit too! Lots of hiking opportunities close by, and then you get to enjoy the fabulous view from your dining room table as you eat your meals! House is perfect - clean, beautiful, perfectly stocked and the owner is top notch! You will love it!
