The Space:
Welcome to Hidden Overlook, your private mountainside escape perched high atop the Appalachian Mountains overlooking the breathtaking Cumberland Valley.
This 2-bedroom, 2-bath retreat is perfect for couples, small families, or remote workers looking to unplug, recharge, and soak in nature’s beauty—while still enjoying modern comforts.
The Space
Step inside to vaulted ceilings, rich wood beams, and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame miles of valley views. Cozy up beside the stone fireplace in the living room, enjoy a book in the reading nook, or gather around the dining table with a glass of wine and watch the sunset.
Bedrooms
Primary Suite: King bed, walk-in closet, and ensuite bath featuring a statement red soaking tub.
Second Bedroom: Queen bed with plush linens and plenty of storage.
Bathrooms
2 full bathrooms, including one ensuite and one hallway bath—both with a blend of rustic charm and convenience.
Kitchen Fully equipped with all the essentials—cookware, utensils, full-size appliances, and coffee station. Whether you’re whipping up a hearty breakfast or preparing dinner with a view, you’ll find everything you need here.
Outdoor Living Multiple decks, tiered patios. Grill, dine al fresco, sip your morning coffee, or stargaze at night—this home offers the ultimate indoor-outdoor living experience.
Parking & Access Private driveway and two-car garage at the top of the property provide plenty of space. Walk down a beautifully built wooden stairway to reach the main entrance, surrounded by rock formations and mature trees.
Highlights
Unmatched panoramic views of Cumberland Valley
Unique architecture nestled into the mountainside
Indoor wood-burning fireplace
WiFi, Smart TV, central heat & AC
Washer & dryer available for guest use
Nearby
Appalachian Trail access – 5 min
Downtown Harrisburg – 20 min
Ski Roundtop – 25 min
Carlisle, Mechanicsburg, and Hershey attractions all within 30 minutes
Other Things to Note:
Please Note: The driveway is steep and leads directly to a small turnaround area at the bottom. Due to limited space, it’s best to drive straight in and back out when leaving, as turning around can be difficult. We recommend taking it slow and using caution, especially at night or in inclement weather. Also, there are exterior security cameras on site.
The pool and hot tub are currently out of service and not available for guest use at this time. We’re working on updates and hope to have them fully operational by next year. Thanks for your understanding.
