The condo was just as advertised. It sits right on the beach. It has a large pool. Everyone was extremely helpful. Our host made sure we had everything we needed. It is n a great location. There are some very good restaurants, places to shop and plenty of fun things to do. The most important thing to me was the cleanliness. It was very clean!! When we make plans to visit Destin we will defiantly stay at Sterling Sands!

Sterling Sands was great little getaway spot. Condo itself was clean and tidy with comfy beds etc. We had some rainy days, so maybe think about putting some board games or cards in the unit in case of bad weather. Other than that, it was great and a good value we felt.

Jacuzzi tub was unusable because of how filthy it was. Furniture so stained up we was afraid to sit on it. Cleaners left filthy rags in the kitchen sink. Over all room was dirty. I stay in a lot of condos I rent through vrbo and this is the first time we had these issues. Legs are about to fall off coffee table and end tables. Pasties was left in end table drawer. Very disappointed pictures was not accurate.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m very sorry your stay at Sterling Sands 707 fell so far short of expectations. The cleanliness issues you described — unusable jacuzzi, stained furniture, cleaning rags left in the sink, an item left in an end table drawer, and furniture in disrepair — are unacceptable. We will share this immediately with our cleaning and maintenance teams and the owner for prompt investigation and corrective action, and we will review the listing photos for accuracy. My sincere apologies that this disrupted your stay. - RealJoy Destin

We really enjoyed the proximity to the pool and beach. It was beautiful to sit on the balcony every morning as the sun rose and dolphins swam by. Note that beach chairs are not included with this unit and will be an extra expense at the beach.
