About this property

Rock Point Bay Retreat - Stunning Lake Erie Waterfront Cottage

The time has come that the kid's sports have taken over our summer and we no longer have time to visit our Happy Place as much as we'd like.

For anyone looking to rent a cottage getaway this summer, keep us in mind.

Our newly renovated waterfront cottage with a private beach sleeps six comfortably.

Enjoy the large yard, fire pit and back deck with panoramic views of Lake Erie.

There are three bedrooms. The master has a walkout to the deck with breathtaking views of the Mohawk Island Lighthouse and Rock Point Provincial Park. Bedroom 2 has a queen-sized bed and Bedroom 3 has a double with a twin bunk.

If you sit on the raised deck by the water early in the morning while watching the sunrise, you'll be sure to see our resident Bald Eagle soaring past.

The cottage has an open concept living area with a full kitchen, living room, sunken dining room and reading nook. This area of the cottage is surrounded with windows so you can still enjoy the view while inside.

The property includes access to the private beach - there are two sets of stairs. One down to a large deck, then another down to the water. As the cottage is in a raised location, these stairs are considered steep and may not be suitable for people with limited mobility. Very young children will require assistance.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

We can't wait to come back this wonderful Lake Erie Cottage! Jenn was fantastic about communicating, the house was so clean and stocked when we arrived, the bedrooms/beds were comfortable and outdoor space was fantastic! I am glad we asked about water shoes as I would recommend them if swimming re the coral when getting in. There is nothing negative I could say and I am pretty picky lol! A huge bonus for us was the bald eagle sighting and the fact that there are no properties to the right and we could explore the other side of the beach. My mom, son and myself had a fantastic time and would highly recommend.

A perfect lake front getaway! We stayed at this lovely location with our two granddaughters ages 9 and 11. Lovely open-concept living area with lots of comfortable seating and an amazing 180 degree view with plenty of privacy. Well-stocked kitchen, fresh linens, stunning lakefront view, fire pit, hammock, and a selection of games in the cupboard made for a comfortable and fun stay.We accessed the lake by the stairs leading down to the waters edge from a deck overlooking the water and by a short 5 min drive to Rock Point Provincial Park for some public beach fun (water shoes highly recommended) and interesting fossil hunting. Bonus: a local bald eagle provided some extra entertainment. Excellent communication with owner Jennifer who was very responsive and super helpful. We hope to return next summer.
