This was a vacation for 3 families with ages ranging from 2-65. We loved everything about the house (well equipped, clean, nicely decorated, and tons of natural light), the location (30-40 minute to south haven or Kalamazoo, lots of smaller towns nearby), and property. The property was definitely the highlight. It offered fantastic views of the lake, a dock to fish off of-caught plenty of bass and bluegill, a sandy beach area for the kids to enjoy with shallow and clear water extending to the end of the dock. The boat house with deck, and fire pit were also very nice and thoroughly enjoyed. We also enjoyed renting their owners pontoon boat for the day, it was clean and spacious. With it we were able to fish, swim at the sandbar that’s mid-lake, and cruise around. The owners Sandy and her son, Rob were both fantastic and easy to get ahold of with questions. 10/10 recommend!

We had a really nice stay and enjoyed both the house and the location. There are plenty of sleeping options, with bedding, pillows, blankets, and sheets, towels, and the rooms were bright and clean. The first floor is spacious with tile flooring, and a large leather couch was very comfortable and had plenty of room for everyone.The kitchen was one of our favorite parts. It was very well stocked with pots, pans, and everything we needed for cooking. The lakefront location was beautiful, and we saw swans every day. We were able to borrow the rowboat and had the option to rent the pontoon boat for an extra fee. The patio was also really nice, with comfortable furniture, a fire feature in the middle of the table, and a retractable awning, which was especially helpful when it rained.One thing to know ahead of time: the three upstairs bedrooms share one hallway bathroom, so be prepared to share. It is not attached to any of the bedrooms. Also, the mattresses in the small guest bedroom and couch were a little firmer than we prefer, and the sofa bed was on the firmer side, too. But having so many different places to sleep was really great. The view from the master bedroom is beautiful!The drive to Lake Michigan was quick. There is also a great little store nearby. 10/10 would book again. Sandy is a fantastic host!
