Step through a red stained-glass door into a lovingly restored 1890s villa in the heart of Reefton, New Zealand's historic gold country. Wrap-around fretwork verandahs open onto one of the town's loveliest gardens, bursting with camellias each spring and summer. Inside, a crackling wood burner, soft green armchairs and a barista-grade coffee machine set the tone for slow mornings. Sleeps up to 6, just a short stroll to Broadway's cafes, shops and gold-rush heritage.
