We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful lakeside house in Floral City. Jim & Dawn were great to work with. We've stayed in a number of VRBOs & this one was far & away the best. There are just too many good things about this house to list them all!

Thank you so much for your kind words. We look forward to having you back in the future.
Outstanding!! House was lovely & the view out the back so relaxing. House was stocked with absolutely anything we might need, particularly the kitchen. Often we have found kitchen items sparse but not here. Lots of bird activity on the water & the crabs were worth waiting for. A flock of 11 cranes flew overhead as we were leaving. The host was most accommodating & available if we had questions. Thanks so much for a lovely five weeks away from the snow & cold.
What a truly wonderful experience in Floral City, FL. From the moment my family and I drove down the long driveway we could feel our stresses melting away. The cabin is clean and very comfortable! The show stopper is the view
of the lake! Wow, simply gorgeous! We enjoyed cups of coffee each morning looking out over the lake. Speaking of the lake, our kids loved fishing from the new dock. Jim was very easy to work with. Highly recommend you put the world away for a minute, and stay in this cabin nestled in country!

Thank you, Eric. It was truly a pleasure having you and your family stay at the Lake House. We look forward to having you back again in the near future.
Three weeks wasn't long enough! I can't say enough about how beautiful this property is. Surrounded by gorgeous live oak trees it literally takes your breath away. We caught multiple fish off the dock, saw gators just about everyday! The provided golf cart was a huge bonus to see the area also a bonus of many games for the whole family to play. Beautiful area, beautiful house and a wonderful family to rent from. Thank you for opening your home to us during this moving transition. We are so thankful we got to stay in your slice of heaven.

We loved our stay here. The sunrises are spectacular and the location is quiet and peaceful. We used the rowboat and kayak and took a couple bike rides and also a lot of walks around the surrounding neighborhoods. The car shows in Inverness were also really nice. We love this part of Florida. It’s laid back and is a hidden gem. Looking forward to next year. Thank you, Jim and Dawn for making your home our home for the month of March. The time definitely went by too fast.

We had such a great time at this property! My favorite was the bike ride with my mom, and game night. But we also rented a pontoon from a business that was right around the corner, played lots of corn hole and tennis, rode around on the golf cart, sat around the campfire, and more! The house was very clean, and well maintained, and the location was perfect! Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I stayed here for the month of February and had a wonderful time. The house is very nicely furnished and decorated throughout in keeping with the lake house theme. The owners have really poured their hearts into this place with lots of personal touches and even homemade items. They were also excellent to work with and made us feel very welcome. We brought our own bikes and kayaks but these things are also provided for you if you want. The 46-mile Withlacoochee State trail is less than a mile away - what a gem! We did our walking/running/biking there every day. Just 10 minutes to the north, the town of Inverness is also very nice with a beautiful park by the lake right where the rail trail passes through. There are a number of great places to go kayaking within 30 minutes or so. Overall, we really loved the laid back small town feel and would love to return on another visit to this lovely, charming lake house. Thank you Jim and Dawn!

This was the perfect weekend getaway, especially after all that 2020 has thrown at us. A group of friends made the quick drive (1 1/2hrs) up from St. Petersburg. We immediately felt like we were in a completely different state where everything was laid back and peaceful. This charming lakefront cottage has everything you need to enjoy a great weekend away from it all. There were a total of six adults and four children and we all fit into the cottage perfectly. The kitchen is large and has everything you need to prepare some great meals. The hosts also provide access to a washer/dryer if you need it. There are two bedrooms on one side of the house and the master suite on the other side. The two guest bedrooms share a large bathroom that is well kept with everything you need. The main living space is great to hang out and enjoy the serene views of the lake. The backyard is surrounded by a beautiful canopy of trees and the new dock with lighting is exactly where you want to spend your days/evenings. The hosts even provided firewood for us to enjoy a bonfire one night. There is a public boat ramp just down the road that would be perfect to launch from and spend some time on the lake. One of the highlights was cruising around the neighborhood in the golf cart the hosts provided access to. We were all sad to leave when it came time to pack up. We can't wait to come back, unwind, and enjoy everything this great lakefront cottage has to offer.
