Welcome to the Woodland Cottage on Bills Lake! The interior renovation was just finished, with a complete transformation including new flooring, paint, trim, stainless steel appliances, shiplap ceilings, granite countertops, and more. The cottage is furnished with brand new high-end furniture, stylish beds, memory foam mattresses, top quality linens, and Roku smart televisions to top it off.

The property and frontage is huge! You'll arrive at the cottage through a long curving private driveway through tall mature trees. The cottage sits on 13 wooded acres and has 494' of private lake frontage on the beautiful all-sports Bills Lake. Enjoy time at the dock; fishing, kayaking, and swimming. Watch the incredible sunrises, have campfires next to the lake, and take sunset cruises!

You can comfortably sleep 6 with the two main bedrooms featuring queen beds, and a queen pull out sleeper sofa in the living room.

The spacious kitchen has a great view of the lake and has a large island that seats 4. The dining table seats 6. The kitchen is fully equipped with new dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and more. The appliances include a brand new gas range, microwave, french door refrigerator and a dishwasher. If you'd rather grill on the outdoor patio, we have you covered with a Weber grill and blackstone griddle overlooking the lake.

This cottage has everything you'll need to have a comfortable stay with your family and to make long lasting memories. We look forward to hosting your family!

Great Weekend Getaway

We’ve rented this property twice and can’t wait to do it again. It’s so nice to get away and just spend time and relax in the house or on the lake. It’s been a perfect weekend vacation.

Perfect Getaway

The cottage was so cute and clean. We enjoyed all the watersports that were offered and the pontoon rental! Host's communication was excellent and the process was so easy! Will definitely go back!

The perfect lake vacation!

Beautiful home, property, boat - everything. Stayed for a week in September 2020 and returned for a Fourth of July week in 2022. Could not have asked for a better stay. The renovated house is beautiful with everything you need and the expansive property is peaceful, quiet and truly wonderful.

Perfect relaxing weekend

The house is exactly as pictured; updated, beautifully decorated, and very clean. The Kitchen is well equipped with anything you might need. The outdoor grill was nice. We rented the pontoon boat as well, perfect for fishing or just cruising around the lake. My favorite spot was on the patio overlooking the lake. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful little cottage with gorgeous lake view

We had a great stay at this cottage. Everything that was listed was provided. There is a beautiful sunrise over the lake each morning. It has all been redone and upgraded nicely. Perfect for a small family of 4. We plan to come here at least once a year as we have family nearby. Thank you to the property owners and managers that made the check in a smooth process. Hope to stay here again!

Short family gathering

Our family met to explore Bill’s Lake for the very first time. We loved the well appointed kitchen area and the outdoor patio greatly! Seated everybody and still had amazing views of thr lake and the kiddos that were playing on the waterfront huge yard. The kayaks and water toys were a huge hit and the fire pit was right in thr middle of the yard near the water at night which was beautiful! Everybody enjoyed their day visit and were able to gather very comfortably outside. Thank you

Fantastic place to stay!!

Beautiful property, beautiful cottage, great view! Cleanest rental I have ever stayed in! The lot was huge which was great for family lawn games- crushball, corn hole and croquet to name a few. We also really enjoyed sitting around the campfire every night, very private and peaceful, and trying out the paddle boards and kayaks. The kitchen was nice and big for family meals and the dishes/pots/pans were the nicest I’ve used in a rental. Very nice pontoon for rent, we really enjoyed our evening “strolls” around the lake. The owners were very accommodating and communication was good incredible! Only draw back was that the dock didn’t go out far enough for us to use our ski boat. However, had I asked them in advance about that they would have let me know that was going to be an issue so that was my own fault. Highly recommend!

Exactly what we wanted. The coffee maker needs to be upgraded. It took 45 minutes to brew 8 cups. Loved the place despite this.

A Stay to Remember

The property was very private and quiet. The cottage was nicely updated and has all the comforts of home. The lake was clean and clear. The pontoon boat was used daily and was great. Family used it for lots of cruising, swimming and fishing. Caught some real nice fish during the week. Several large bass (tournament quality) and a few small pike. Due to some major storms that rolled through on Tuesday night, we lost power which didn’t come back on until Friday. Ryan and Julie were great during all of it. They went out of their way to get a generator to the house, fire it up, and save the vacation. Extremely appreciative for that! It will certainly be a vacation we’ll never forget.

Wonderfully peaceful and well stocked!

Communication with property owner was wonderful, and we arrived to find an impeccably clean and quiet space. The property is beautiful and very private. Small bedrooms, but very comfortable with memory foam mattresses. Sunlight pouring through windows was wonderful, the deck was so nice to sit and relax with a glass of wine! All kitchen items were brand new, they’ve thought of everything! Lovely place and we would consider coming back!!

Great secluded getaway.

This lake cottage was perfect for a family getaway, even in the off-season. The location is perfect, being within short driving distance to everything you may need, but on a substantial amount of property that's great for hanging out and exploring. The house was very comfortable and spotless. We will be coming back soon.

Fun with Friends

A group of my friends decided we needed a winter getaway. Somewhere quiet, beautiful, and relaxing! We were able to get that all in one place!! Amazing scenery and comfortable accommodations and within driving distance of necessities made it the perfect place for us :)

Beautiful setting

The cottage is decorated beautifully! Kitchen is VERY well appointed. The only thing to be aware of is that there is no ice maker and we didn’t find any ice trays. Plenty of towels, blankets, pillows. Appliances are all updated, stainless steel. The view of the lake and surrounding woods is peaceful and beautiful. Nice cozy, secluded feeling. We were about 20-30 minutes from dining and shopping. Owner was responsive and made great eatery recommendations. The Forager was particularly good with a very charming atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Property on the Lake

Property was beautiful and extremely well maintained. The interior of the home was stunning and had everything you could need for a very relaxing stay. The check in process was painless and the owners were very communicative and willing to go above and beyond to accommodate. My fiancé and I had an amazing time and will be booking again with this property in the future!

A cozy cottage with a beautiful view

The property is set in the woods on beautiful Biils lake. The cottage was beautifully decorated and cozy. The beds are wonderful & all the basics are covered for a relaxing stay. I highly recommend staying here.

As advertised and a relaxing time.

The house was very clean and all communication with the owner was seamless. The property is in a great spot and if you are looking for some seclusion and just a relaxing time this is the place. We did have a couple of small issues, but the communication with the owners was great and our concerns were addressed best they could be. We will definitely rent again.

Excellent stay

We had a great time at Bills Lake, and the fall colors were amazing. I'd argue this cabin has the best lot on the whole lake. The cabin is newly finished, and well stocked with dishes. There isn't much in the way of pantry staples, so be sure to bring things like salt/pepper and sugar. The beds were very comfortable, but I'm a fan of a soft mattress, so firm sleepers be warned. The owners were very responsive to our questions in advance, and when the pontoon boat at the property had engine troubles prior to our arrival, they went out of their way to bring another boat from a different lake. They truly went above and beyond, and rescued the weekend for our kids! There aren't a lot of grocery or food options nearby, but we knew that going in and packed accordingly, though a gas station/carry out down the road has some basics in case of emergency. We're looking forward to a return in the summer to really enjoy the lake.
