Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Clean and Cozy

We loved this condo! Right on the water, you can open the door and hear the waves while you relax indoors or on the spacious balcony. Tidewater has nice amenities and a great location, close to plenty of food and shopping. This unit was well decorated, very clean, and had everything we needed. We look forward to renting this unit again during future stays in PCB.

Perfect view and beautiful condo!

We stay here every time at 815. The condo is gorgeous and so spacious . Love the big balcony. And love the bedroom has its own balcony. The owners are fabulous and so helpful. We have never had any issues and this condo.

Amazing

The condo is amazing. The views from the 8th floor are spectacular. The balcony extends the length of the condo with access from the master bedroom. The 2nd bedroom is perfect with for children. Has a door fo privacy with a closet and T.V. connected to a 2nd bathroom. My daughter loved it. Highly recommend staying here.

Spring Break 2023

Condo was awesome! It was clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful view from the balcony. Location to Pier Park was great. Only down fall were the elevators in the complex and all the construction around it. Elevators took forever at peak times.

Great condo!

This was a great condo to stay in! Everything was as pictured/described. The elevators were being controlled by a person on our check out day so, we waited 30 minutes to get on, but that’s not any fault of the condo owners. I love that the garage isn’t one that goes under the building with tight spaces. There was plenty for the kids to do without leaving the property. Will definitely be back!

It was perfect for our family vacation. Everything was great only downside was the elevators as usual. The mattress in the master is a little to firm for my husband and I but other than those two small issues everything was absolutely perfect!

Great Getaway

This was an amazing condo, we had a beautiful view of the beach! Our kids spent a lot of time at the pool, which in my opinion needs to be cleaned more often, the hot tub had dingy colored water and of course sand is to be expected, but they should also clean it more often. The condo itself was clean, cute beachy décor, and had basics for cooking. Although for a week stay I believe there needs to be more detergent, and trash bags supplied. The master bed isn't the most comfortable but the view in the morning makes up for it!

nice rental

This property was true to the pictures. It was exactly what we needed for our family stay. Read the reviews before we went about the elevators, but didn't realize it was as bad as it was. I heard they are working on updating the technology for them, which is needed. There was an odor, not sure what it was from. It hits you when you walk in the door, but you get used to it. My husband liked the fact that the trash chute was in a seperate room, so the smell of it didn't linger up and down the whole walkway. The view was amazing. We would stay here again.

Fall Break Trip

We had an issue with the door code not letting us in. They were responsive but had to call maintenance and then a locksmith to change out the entire lock. Took us almost two hours to be able to get into the room. Nothing against the rental agency but I will never stay at Tidewater again. When we first arrived there were a whole set of elevators not working. Waits up to an hour to get an elevator. Pools are extremely cold. The whole time we were there we never saw anyone in the pools. I don’t usually complain but these things kept us from really enjoying our trip. The good things were the location and the beach and view were wonderful.

Smell

I feel compelled to. I wish I had seen the other reviews that complained of the smell. There is a terrible unpleasant odor that comes and goes. A lot. Maybe a garbage smell? After 2 days of it not being addressed after I contacted help with it, we walked in the condo one night at 9:30 to find an electric ozone machine set up on the kitchen counter. It had been there for 2.5 hours according to the condo contact. THIS, was worse. The chemical smell was so overwhelming, we immediately unplugged it. It was bedtime for our family who was exhausted, and now we had this terribly strong chemical smell throughout. Two of us had a slight cough for two days after this. I’m assuming our mild asthma took a lick. I contacted the condo relations person who acted like it was no big deal. This type machine is not to be used in an occupied space. And here it was bedtime. getting back home and reading better previous reviews, I see now that the smell is and has been an ongoing issue. The reason for an ozone machine to be brought in instead of someone coming in to see where the smell was coming from and fix. It was known that it wasn’t fixable. It made for an unpleasant stay. my 5 year old granddaughter was “fixing her stuffed animals” on the top bump, right after we got there the first day, and bumped her head on the light fixture that was right above the bunk, knocking the cover off, which hung by its electrical wires the entire stay. Asked more than once, never fixed.

The unit was placed during a time communicated to you and was removed following standard safety protocol. However, we regret that its presence caused discomfort for your group. The use of such equipment is not typical during guest stays, and we are evaluating this incident to ensure future use is clearly communicated and appropriately timed. Regarding the light fixture, our records indicate it was reported and a work order was issued. We regret the delay in resolution and are addressing it internally. We are committed to providing safe, comfortable accommodations and regret that your experience did not fully reflect those standards.

Beautiful Decor, but would NEVER stay here again

First off, all the pictures of the property represent the property well, everything looked like the pictures. The decor was beautiful and refreshing and the view from the balcony was great!!! But overall I would not stay here again. We came to PCB for a baseball tournament, the cost for the unit was very expensive but seemed to be the going rate for that area, so we paid the price. Every single morning the unit smelled like straight hot trash, like maybe they shut the trash area during the night and the smell seeps out of the trash Shute. During our stay they reached out and asked if the maintenance person could come fix a few things, I said yes, i brought up the trash smell issue- i asked for something as simple as them bring a few air fresheners- not only did it take forever to get a response, they said they would reach out to HOA and that was the end of it— we had to keep both sliders open most of the day to air out the unit—it smelled so bad we even looked around the unit for a dead rodent. On our last day there the keypad to our unit decided to stop working, luckily we still had someone in the unit to let us in- but then we were stuck not going anywhere until someone came to fix it- when they did come they punched in a few numbers said we were good, so everyone except my oldest child left and once again we came back to the keypad not working- again, thankfully we could get in… Lastly, the elevators in the unit are horrible, this unit is on the 8th floor-and We took st

Excellent place to stay

Condo was beautifully decorated. Bed was super comfy!! Felt like a home. We had everything we needed.. soo enjoyed our mornings on the porch on our girls trip. We were able to walk to so many great restaurants. Views from this condo from left to right we’re just breathtaking of sunrises early in the morning and sunsets at night. All the Girls agreed , we will be back again to this unit next year.

Labor Day Getaway

We arrived late Thursday evening. Check in online was easy. The parking situation (cross over only on floor 2) wasn’t the best, but it’s out of everyone’s control. The view from the condo is incredible! We had everything we needed and truly enjoyed our stay. Only complaint: the wait at the elevator is consistently an issue. It took us over 45m to catch an elevator from floor 8 on departure. We had a cart and could not take the stairs but that was terrible. Otherwise it was great.

Dear Alexis, thank you for sharing the wonderful experience you had and the incredible view you enjoyed at our Condo. We have learned some helpful tips concerning the elevators. If the elevator to the right of Condo takes too long, turn left out of the condo. There are 3 more elevators side by side. And a few more feet down, 3 more. To help with check-out -checking out earlier in the morning is not as busy, and loading some items into your car prior to check-out the day before, has really made a difference. panama city condo

I will never rent a condo again, experience was horrible, elevators wouldn't work had to take stairs up and down for 4 days, and with kids that horrific, we called to notify that the sink was not working they just said to use the other side, the shower was dirty, the ac had wasnt cooling one night but it was ok after that. and they did text and checked on that.

Hello Chris - We just hate that you had elevator issues at the resort during your stay, that stinks! Unfortunately, condo owners have zero control of the elevators. We did not see any notes regarding any cleaning issues. We are so glad you had a wonderful time and enjoyed our home away from home. Cheers!

Master bed is terrible!

Property was clean but the master bed mattress was terrible. I have never slept on a mattress so broken down.

Smoking in rooms, partying on balcony, masks not enforced

When we arrived in our room it wreaked of cigarettes, I called the number and a man was extremely rude saying I could not speak to a manager and there where no other rooms and could contact housekeeping or check out and go to another property. Not what I would want to do after lugging all of our luggage from garage across the street. Housekeeping brought a machine to clean the air and said we would need to be out of the room for 2 hours, so we couldn't even unpack anything until after 730pm. Housekeeping manager said we would have some comps on room or food recieved nothing. Elevators could take up to 30 minutes each day, no one was wearing mask, including staff in most areas, smells of Marijuana and cigarettes everywhere, and people screaming profanity on the beach till midnight. Definitely not for families.

Dear Sara. Our heart is truly grieved , that because of another guest NOT abiding to our ‚NO SMOKING rules, that you had a bad experience staying at our Condo. So sad for you and us! We are so very thankful to housekeeping, that they came in and brought in the air purifier to help you. We have also spoken to Management to add another NO SMOKING sign. What we can do on our end, we always want to do, because we care. When we bought this unit, we wanted to share it! We chose it for the beautiful views, the large balcony, the front door is in a cove, not on the road, so to that it’s more quiet for our guests and with a parking garage they don’t have to get wet when it rains. The elevator is around the corner, taking you right down to the pool or beach.We wanted it to be near Pier park, for all the families to enjoy, taking their kids on the sky wheel , having fun at Dave and Busters or eating fudge etc. We thought of being in walking distance, for our guests that love to walk to Restaurants or the sweet little park, dedicated to our Veterans. The pier for our guests, that love to fish. Or that our guests could see the fireworks on New Years Eve right from our balcony. We wanted to be on the west End of pier park, easy to the Airport and Grocery stores near by. A building that had all the Amenities for our guests, swimming indoors and out , Steam room, Sauna, Arcade and Theater for the kids. We wanted the decor to be up to date and comfortable for you, adding the extra full couch and next month making the bottom bunk a full size bed. We looked very hard and compared many units before choosing this one. Thinking of all the many different things our guests would love , so they would have a wonderful time. Like our guest that have repeat visits every year, we humbly extend our welcome to you, your family, friends and others to come and enjoy the pleasures of beachfront living superior to many here at Panama City Beach

True beach front getaway

There a certain things really matter to us and this unit was a True 5 Star..True Ocean front views in the Den and bedroom. This is what we come here for to see the Ocean. We have stayed at other places where the buildings were angled and you saw other guests on balconies. Beauty! The unit was not only beautiful , but very comfortable, has a well stocked kitchen . You can tell the Owners took pride in making sure we had the comforts of home. Great 8th floor, not too high and not too low. Location , location , location . Close to airpot, shopping. Walking distance to Pier park and Restaurants. Porch is all the way across,from Den to Ocean front master bedroom. We each had our own space and did not feel cramped. Rocking in those cool white rocking chairs. Will DEFINITELY return soon!!! Thank you.
