This was perfect for what me and my brother needed, a cute little campsite tucked away in the hosts backyard had everything we needed and more, it was only a short drive from town and was a quiet neighborhood so it was perfect!
We were taking some time to relax on the Olympic Peninsula during a road trip across the US. The location was great; it was quiet and close to Dungeness Spit and Olympic National Park. We enjoyed being able sit outside in a private setting.
We had a wonderful stay and we would definitely rebook and recommend it. The pictures were accurate. Nice and quiet much better than a hotel or campground. Good location for exploring the northern Olympic Peninsula.
We were looking for a camping experience in the national park without the hassle of flying with our gear, and we found it. The RV was nice and properly equipped, the firepit and patio perfect for evening relaxation, and most importantly Joy was a wonderful host. As described, although the RV and outside area are close to the owner's house, it is private and quiet b/c of the way it is situated. The yard is surrounded by tall trees and has party lighting. Port Angeles is a short drive away.
Joy brought us fresh eggs from their chickens each day!
The bunks are best for children, but I'm 6'2 215 lbs and fit into the bottom one OK.
It was an ideal property for hiking all day and grilling with a few beers by a fire at night. Thanks Joy!
A 'Haven of Bliss' it was.
This is not a location that you'd describe as 'tastefully decorated'. That description would not come close to doing it justice!
It truly is an RV experience. The artistic touches to this campsite is just beyond! The pictures in the description are spot on.
Perfect for a family with small kids. Extremely pet friendly, which was huge for me. The camp hosts, Joy and John, were the greatest. Definitely get the welcome family vibe from them.
Only one thing, how I wish I had just a thimble full of their imagination!
Highly recommend for a neat camping experience. Would definitely stay again!
Joy and John, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you very much!

And we thank you for being such a wonderful guest! Hope to see you again 🙂
Although an rv, the setting and experience were my favorite we have had. Birds and squirrels and deer were visitors in the well set up outside living area. Everything we could need or want was provided both in and out. So relaxing! Sweet people also.
I was lucky to find this place for a Labor day weekend. Our family of 5+cat found this RV with a cozy backyard a great hideout while being close to 101 letting us explore Olympic National park. The RV has everything we needed and unfortunately we didn't have enough time to enjoy BBQ and fire pit. I would recommend this place for families with kids, kids will be happy to camp in the woods!
Was a bit skeptical on an rv as a place to stay but it was actually really good. Plenty of amenities, a super cute cat, outdoor area was lots of fun to hang out at. Joy and John were super friendly too! Joy/John, if you’re seeing this, we made it to camp Muir!!!
Beautiful space with nice little touches. The bunk beds were perfect for our three girls. They loved feeding the chickens and playing in the play yard. Great communication from the host throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend!
The property is located right next to the Olympic National Park which was a huge plus for us.
When we weren’t hiking we were enjoying the amazing set up outside, complete with cornhole, a fire pit, grill, open area for the dogs, and much more! There are so many custom touches that make this property a fun/unique stay.
Inside the rv was more spacious than we anticipated and has everything you’d need from cooking to hygiene products.
My kids and I had an awesome time finally exploring more of the Peninsula with the help of this "home base". We had a full weekend exploring Crescent Lake, Storm King Ranger Station, and the Sul Duc areas, the Hoh Rainforest and Mineral Falls as well as and Rialto Beach and the Dungeness Spit. Our off time hanging out at camp was awesome including the campfires and even just enjoying a movie or board game. John and Joy were on top of communication and did everything they could to make sure our stay was pleasant. Would definitely recommend as well as look forward to a future visit.

Thank you for your kind words! We were so happy to meet you and the kids and would love to have you back someday 😊
Had a great, all too brief, stay here. It was perfect for me, my 7 year old and dog: we cooked hotdogs and s'mores one the fire, watched some Harry Potter and cozied down. He loved the bunk beds and feeding the chickens and is already planning our stay next year with friends.
John and Joy were warm, generous hosts.
This is a great place to spend some time and to launch your area adventures.

My husband John and I had a vision to create a campsite on our beautiful property in the mountains on the Olympic Peninsula between Sequim and Port Angeles, WA. We have fallen in love with camping and purchased our RV in 2018 and thought it would be neat to rent it you on our property and share in our passion. After a couple of years planning and many hours working the property it came alive in May of 2020. We have been on AirBnB and have had a great response, but are now branching out to list with VRBO.
John has been in carpentry his entire life and has a very artistic side, so when you visit our property you will see those creative ideas. I am currently a stay at home mom of 8 year old twin girls. I myself have a passion for entertaining and I really enjoy hosting!
John and I have been married for 9 years, rekindled 12 years ago and first met 26 years ago! Our love story is special in that it was a lot of "by chances" that we found each other again after being teenagers in love.
We have 3 small dogs, and 2 cats who roam the property, all very sweet and will likely come say hi at some point during your stay. We also have a chicken coop with 7 chickens that are fun to visit!
Your privacy is very important to us. While this campsite is very close to our residence, we believe you will be surprised by how private it really feels when you are sitting around the campfire looking at the mountains and enjoying the birds in the feeder and squirrels around you.
We look forward to meeting you!
