Great house, great experience

The house was exactly as advertised. It was very comfortable for a large group and conveniently located. The host was very responsive. I had a question about the WiFi password and Cherrie responded immediately to my text. We also had a question about the dishwasher and she had someone there in 20 minutes to solve the issue. I would definitely stay here again.

Cherrie is so nice and easy to work with. She has the best house in the Saranac area perfect for a family or friends stay.

Great place

We loved this nice house near lake flower. We enjoyed walking across the street to paddle board and get ice cream. The porch is lovely!!

Writers Block consists of two buildings with parking area in between. Writers Block #1 Sleeps 14 and Writers Block # 2 sleeps 6 (VBRO # 1402964 ) The Bunk house behind this one will house 4-6 bunks in warmer months. Renting the entire complex will accommodate up to 24 guests.
Writers Block is walking distance to all pubs and eateries in both directions, a block from the new multiuse trails and a quick 8 miles to Lake Placid all while being directly across the street from the new Saranac Waterfront Resort and Lake Flower and the 32 mile chain of lakes. We are also a blocks away from the NYS public Boat launch and have plenty of off street parking. Perfect location in the Capital of the Adirondacks, Saranac Lake, NY!

What makes this property unique

Very unique and versatile property as the combo of both homes it can handle large groups who can all be together, with plenty of parking if you are trailering boats or snowmobiles. Your group will be within walking distance of literally all the pubs, eateries, parks, boat launch, fishing, paddling right across the street. And rented separately, each building offers privacy with the parking lot in between.
