Fully loaded place from beds to canoes to appliances and BBQ, tv's, games, stoves, utensils, the game room, and more. Our only downside was colder than anticipated weather and as with every cottage the mosquito's but luckily the host kept some of the mosquito repellent in the cottage which was so helpful. As someone who has been to many cottages and typically rents, was pleased with this experience.

BEST COTTAGE IN ONTARIO!!!

Everything in this cottage was perfect, clean, fun, and thought out, I would give this more than 5 stars for sure. We spent our nights mainly in the rec room which was so spacious and filled with games to play. I will definitely come back again this year and in the years to come. The communication with the host and the check-in & out was very smooth. Thanks Michael for allowing us to stay at your beautiful place, lots of memories were created.

Perfect summer getaway

We had a fantastic vacation at the lake cottage! The place offered lots of activities, a great location, and a clean lake. The house was spotless, and the beds were comfortable. The host's communication was excellent. The indoor space was perfect for rainy days, and there were ample seating areas to hang out. The well-equipped kitchen made meal preparation easy. Everything matched the description and images. Highly recommended!

Perfect family getaway

The house and property are beautiful and well-maintained. The lake was perfect for swimming - we didnt have any luck fishing but we did see fish jump out of the water. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed during our stay. We saw a number of bird species on the property including flickers, woodpeckers and hummingbirds. The Algonquin East gate was a quick 30 minute drive from the property which was perfect for a day trip. No complaints from our party of 6 and we hope to stay again.

Mini get a way

A great time was has by all. The place was extremely clean and spacious , there were 8 of us including 2 children. We were pleasantly surprised to find all towels and linens provided as well as everything for kitchen use. The trampoline was a nice surprise. Would love to come back during the summer weather. We made great use of the games room as we did have a bit of rain.

Stunning

Such stunning views from the property, the wife and I would wake up early to enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the dock. I was a bit worried about the lake but is was clean and perfect, my 5yr old spent most of her day in the water cooling off while my 2 yr old loved playing in the boat launch where there was some sand. We really enjoyed the canoe and kayak and would go daily just around the lake as it was so peaceful. Fishing is good off the docks. The man cave was awesome we did alot of table tennis and darts while streaming some tunes off the smart TV, it also had ac and a wood stove so it could be used year round. If your looking for a recharge I highly recommend this property. thanks Micheal for hosting us can't wait to go back.

Best of Bancroft

Thank you to Michael for opening his property to myself and party. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves throughout our trip. The onsite dock was great to launch our seadoos, and was not too difficult to navigate. The lake water was warm, clean, and super calm. Since half the lake is surrounded by crown land, the lake did not have alot of boaters or traffic which was great for us. The property came well stocked with all essential pots, pans, and cooking ware. Each room had several towels for use, and lots of extra towels in the laundry room. The shop was great for late night festivities and when it was raining. Mike was very communicative prior to our booking, and during, which we appreciated. This property is everything as advertised, and we will certainly be booking again.
