About the host

Hosted by Natasha Upal

Host profile image
We are Natasha and George, from England and Australia, happily settled in Canada since 2010 with our family. We love travelling and discovering new places and most of all we love to be out by the water and exploring nature. We love staying in unique places around the world and love sharing our piece of Canada with likeminded guests.

Why they chose this property

We were drawn to the area's wild beauty, rocky rolling hills and vast expanse of crown and provincial parkland and Canadian wilderness and wildlife.

What makes this property unique

It's a legacy cottage that is the house that Jack built! - Jack was the original owner, a nuclear scientist who lived in the cottage all year round and took great pride and ingenuity in adding to this little piece of heaven. It was also known as "Haut Haus" because of it's high-top situation affording tremendous views over a quiet bay of the lake.
