The cabin was just as described. Beautiful, comfortable, kitchen is fully stocked for any meal you would like to prepare. So very relaxing. The fire pit was awesome. The hiking trails were easy, well maintained. That overlook is incredible. SO relaxing. Cannot wait to come back and stay at the red roof cabin

Beautiful property, quiet and serene setting. The cabin was beautiful inside and out And extremely clean. The master bedroom was spacious and the bed itself was super comfy. Will definatly be coming back as we live only two hours away

We can to visit our son for his 21st birthday and knew we wanted to be in the mountains and do a lot of hiking. This stay did not disappoint! You are within 30-45min of several state parks and waterfalls ascwell as several great , local restaurants. We ended up with hiking 32.6 miles, seeing 6 state parks, and 9 waterfalls in 3 days. Our last day was extremely nice with relaxing at the lookout. Bill even added (built) a porta potty so there is no need to worry about a restroom while sitting and enjoying the sunset and family. Only recommendation would be to add a few more trail signs in the beginning (we got turned around a couple times with different trails walking to the lookout). I would absolutely recommend the cabi! It is well kept, communication is easy and quick, and the cabin was equipped with all accommodations you'd need.

Our stay at the cabin did not disappoint .The cabin was as advertised and had everything we needed for our stay. The property was so peaceful and quiet and we enjoyed having our morning coffee on the porch. We hiked to the lookout on the property a few times which is a must see. The cabin is close to Burgess Falls, Windows Cliff, Rock Island, Cummins Falls and Falls Creek Falls. Lots of hiking in those areas and beautiful falls. Communication with Bill was never an issue.

A wonderful secluded restful cabin. Everything was top notch and the host helped us with a scheduling issue. Can not say enough good things about the property. Would not hesitate to book again if we goo back to the area.

I cannot tell you how many times we walked around this cabin and said out loud “Oh my gosh, this is so cool and such a beautiful cabin!!”. I would definitely book this cabin again, even if only for a day but preferably for a whole week because it was such a peaceful and quiet place.

The host is responsive and kind. The property is beautiful, comfortable and has everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals. We enjoyed spending time on the wraparound porch watching fireflies in the evening and listening to the birds in the morning. The beds are comfortable and so is the couch. If you have time enjoy exploring the trails and go check out the lookout on the property. Also if you are hungry there is a fabulous burger spot named The Ugly Mug about 10 minutes away. We love this spot, it feels like home.

The cabin was absolutely perfect for our group weekend. The kitchen was stocked with supplies needed for us to cook and the living room/couch was so comfortable. The beds were very cozy and bathrooms spacious. The owner of the property is incredibly friendly, stopped over to say hi and welcome us. We felt very safe. Lots of hiking nearby. Will absolutely be planning to come back.

The cabin was exactly what we needed as a getaway. There is a spacious living area and open kitchen with all we needed to cook our meals. Bill replied very quickly any time I had questions. He also provided lots of information prior to the visit so we would have a good idea of the area we were visiting. The cabin was really clean and comfortable. If we decide to return to the Spencer area, we would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect setting for my best friend’s bachelor party, it was quiet and peaceful, the property was groomed and welcoming with Bill offering us all the majesty his land had to offer. The look out is the crown jewel but it’s the perfect place to get away even if you just need a porch to sit on and birds to keep you company. I will be bringing my family to take it in as soon as possible!!
