About this property

Missoula Private Riverfront Luxury

A truly great Missoula Lodging riverfront property, just 15 minutes from the Missoula International Airport. The property spans 100 acres of riverfront that includes 3000 ft of Clark Fork River frontage. It is centrally located to all the outdoor pursuits the Missoula valley has to offer. Within 15 minutes of the House: Bitterroot River, Blackfoot River, Clark Fork River, our best whitewater in the Alberton Gorge, multiple National Forest trailheads, Snowbowl Ski Area, and private bird hunting during the season for guests.

We finished building this house in Aug. of 2008. It was built with the executive on vacation in mind. Everything in house from the custom beds to the tile and granite work is exceptional.

We designed the property for entertaining larger groups of guests that prefer private sleeping quarters. An easy way to put together a nice evening is to cater into the house for an evening meal overlooking the river. We can arrange that easily by request.

Sleeping quarters include 8 separate beds. Bedroom #1 - 2 extra long fulls. Bedroom #2 - 2 extra long fulls. Bedroom #3 King bed and Queen sofa sleeper. This rooms breaks into two with heavy French doors. Bedroom #4 - Queen. Bedroom #5 - King

This is our second building on this property you can see the other on VRBO at listing #189327. For larger groups both houses can be rented together. Please contact us for details.

We are located at the end of a well maintained private road so privacy is at a premium. The only neighbors you have are the trout, deer, eagles, ospreys, and the occasional wild turkey.

For winter dates there is always the possibility of snow. Snow removal services are lined up, but are not included in the rates and the additional fee is added on when required.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING

We stayed in Huson for a wedding in Alberton. The property was perfect for our group. They had three properties within a 3/4 mile that supported all the immediate family and some friends. There is a nice walking area near the river that was perfect for the kiddos, dogs, and fishing! The property managers were incredibly responsive, kind, helpful, and the check-in was seamless. I would highly recommend this place! There was plenty of space and even with 3 kiddos under 9 the home was spaced appropriately enough that it made for an enjoyable experience. ALSO LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THAT VIEW! 10/10 Montana experience!

Great Inside, Outside was just okay

This house on the inside was absolutely perfect for what our group (7 Adults) needed for the long weekend. The beds were so comfortable, kitchen was amazing and well stocked, amenities were perfect. We had two dogs with us and some outdoor games planned but the property surrounding the house is all rocks (river rocks/pea gravel) and so it made being outside to play not very friendly. The river is not accessible from the house, which wasn't clear to me from the description, we had planned to fish from the back yard but couldn't. Plus this was just the time of year (end of May) but the mosquitos were terrible. If you're going then, be sure to pack some bug spray, or just don't plan on being outside.

Beautiful home with outstanding views

We had a large family winter vacation here and everything was perfect in the house accommodations. Plenty of surrounding activities such as skiing, and other winter sports for all ages. Highly recommended. If snow it's best to have all wheel drive or 4 x 4

Amazing property!

My husband and I rented all the houses on the property for us and a large group of friends for our wedding nearby. The property was BEAUTIFUL and was a great location. We were in the wilderness enough to enjoy the views but close enough to the highway to get around easily. The hosts were very responsive and extremely helpful. They responded quickly to whatever we needed. Our friends were amazed at the property and we are even talking about coming back to enjoy the space again. The house setup was perfect for a large group! Would 100% recommend this stay to anyone wanting to get away with a few families or friends.

Property was spacious and very comfortable for (8). Plenty of room for more. My only suggestion is (1) of the ovens needs new control buttons or replaced. 2nd oven works great Also, I think leaving toilet paper for guests would be nice. Every bath out after first evening. View is beautiful and convenient to downtown

Fantastic Montana Vacation

Trout Bluff is a top notch property, and the views of the Clark Fork are breathtaking. Sheree was amazing - answered all my questions quickly, and helped us to plan a wonderful trip. We were able to experience a float of Rock Creek with Dylan and Aaron as guides. The only thing that would have made that day more perfect was if the rain had held off one more hour. Of course the 70 plus fish we caught did not mind the rain...LOL. We are looking forward to planning the next trip!

Right on the Clark Fork River!

Brand new, this is just an incredible rental opportunity to those looking for a private riverfront rental opportunity just west of Missoula Montana. Beautifully and tastefully done on the inside, lots of room, beautiful view of the Clark Fork River. Very close (about two minutes away) from some awesome fly fishing for trout. It's quiet, and has beautiful furniture on the inside, and a fantastic big kitchen to cook meals in. Five stars all the way, including the people we rented from!

Fishing Montana

Wow! Eight of us under one roof and geat beds / bedrooms for each of us! The place was stellar and handled our large group easily! Kudos and the catered dinners, they really topped of a great week of fishing. Views from the deck were amazing, especially watching the wildlife! Thanks for such a great place. We will be back!
