The main floor of this custom built log home includes 1 bedroom with a double size bed, a bathroom, full eat-in kitchen, a utility area with a washer and dryer and living room with a wood burning stove and satellite TV. Upstairs includes 2 bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and one with 2 twin size beds, and a bathroom. There is a large porch overlooking the Nine Mile Creek. The home sits on a secluded 23 acres, with one side of the property bordering National Forest and one side bordering the Nine Mile Creek. The views are breathtaking. The log home provides an excellent vacation retreat for seasonal golfing, rafting, kayaking, hiking, skiing, hunting and fishing. Walk out the door and within 100 feet you can be fishing in the Nine Mile Creek and other world famous Montana trout fishing rivers are all within an hour’s drive. Missoula, with its many fine restaurants and shops is only 40 minutes away by car. Missoula is served by an airport with multiple flights by major airlines each day as well as several car rental agencies.

Best little cabin in the woods

The stay couldn’t have been better. We loved how secluded it is and the creek was fun to cool off in, fish, and just listen to. Lots of wildlife around too.

Relaxing & remote retreat

We stayed here to attend a wedding nearby. We enjoyed the remote area, views of the creek and mountain & so many animals (deer, elk, otter, cows, horses, & birds)We walked and my husband fly-fished, up and down the creek, sat with our coffee on the deck & played cards in the evening. Nice to Not have wifi and cell service & really get away from it all! Beautiful!

Great Retreat
