About this property
Cozy Forest Hideaway –no matter the time of year it’s quiet and beautiful.
The Stonehouse is truly unique and rare. It is a perfect blend of city life and woodland serenity.
From your private patio, you can enjoy the enchantment of the forest. Spring and summer there are boulders covered with emerald green moss and flowers blooming, fall is vibrant with maple leaves everywhere, winter has its snow and frost. Just imagine sitting on a large mossy boulder engrossed in a good book, or swinging on an adult-sized swing and feeling like a carefree child again. Turn on the patio party lights and invite your friends over for a delightful dinner outdoors, sit by a crackling fire roasting marshmallows. After dinner, take a short walk up the path, located just above the driveway, to the lookout over Oregon City
This gem is inside Waterboard Park, just above historic Oregon City (which won the 2018 Great American Main Street Award!). A garden path leads you to your private entrance.
The living room has comfortable chairs perfect for curling up with a good book or watching your favorite show.
If you’re into cooking or barbecuing, the kitchen is well stocked to get you started, including a convection oven and a full-size refrigerator.
We think you’ll especially love the quiet and comfort of your bedroom. There’s no road noise to disturb your sleep, and we’ve got blackout curtains, pristine white sheets, lots of pillows, and extra blankets to ensure you have a great night’s rest.
If you want to explore the city, take the bus to Portland or stroll to downtown Oregon City by elevator. You’ll find wonderful restaurants, bars, and shops there. It doesn’t get much better than this!
Come see why we call Oregon home. We’d love to hear from you!

Why they chose this property
The Stonehouse is located in Oregon City. The first city in Oregon. It is a wonderful mix of old and new. We love the diversity of people and the history. Down town is abounding with great food and activities. We love this city.
What makes this property unique
This property is a rare find. Even from the driveway entrance you won't see the house till you get to the end of Quarry Street. We are in the city and in the woods. Just the kind of home you think of when you think of Oregon. From your patio there isn't a house in sight, unless you look out over the city. Peace and tranquility, birds and squirrels
, mountains and Portland sky lines off in the distance, and evening sunsets glowing through the trees. Sit on a large boulder left from the old rock quarry and read a book. Swing on an adult size swing and feel like a child again. Or take a nap in one of two hammock chairs. Turn on the patio party lights and have friends over for dinner outside and marshmallows around the fire pit. It can't get much better than this.
