We had a wonderful and very restful stay. The house radiates charm, and has plenty of space, both indoors and out. The surrounding area is great for hikes.

Helpful and friendly host. Well equipped and spacious house. Shutters, double glazing and thick stone walls meant it was cool, even in the very hot summer. Peaceful location with pleasant views. Local town with supermarket and petrol nearby, and excellent, good value cake shop. Germany and Switzerland close enough for day trips. There's no WiFi and we knew this when booking. We've knowingly booked places without WiFi in the past, and came prepared to use mobile data. However, the mobile data signal in the area, even the local town, is very patchy and intermittent, which made researching activities and navigation tricky. Probably to be expected given it's at the foot of the Voges mountains. Patience and perseverance allowed us to do what we needed. WiFi at the house would have been very useful though. There was a good selection of DVD films to watch, books, and plenty of indoor and outdoor games etc. This was our second stop on a trip of just over two weeks, and a washing machine would have been handy.

Accueil très chaleureux de Fabienne notre hôtesse.Maison pleine de charme, située pied des Vosges au calme, dans un joli petit jardin. Idéale pour se reposer ou partir en balade la journée.Très bon séjour avec nos 2 petits enfants. Très envie de revenir.

Nous avons passé 1 semaine sous la neige Sans internet sans tv.Cela nous a permis de passer un maximum de temps vraiment ensemble . le plus souvent autour du réchaud a bois .L agencement des deux salles de séjour permettant de ne jamais vraiment être loin les uns des autres Après plusieurs mois séparés c était le logement idéal pour nous Merci fabienne
