A superb clear view on the station of 'Frere-jo', and on the village. (Ventron ski resort at 4km).
Facing south, large 75 m2 furnished terrace, lawn area with swing and barbecue built into a granite wall. Garden furniture, electric awning.
Quality Alpine furniture.
 2 bathrooms (corner bath and walk-in shower), sauna.
Integrated kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer. cellar, for ski, bikes etc ... 3 bedrooms, all with televisions.
Living room with sofa, and large flat screen TV 107 cm, TNT.
Private parking.
Fondue set, traditional and senséo coffee maker, 2 vacuum cleaners, etc.
Nearby, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, walking, rollerblading, mountain biking, many sites to visit, discovery of Alsace (5 km).
Dog and cat allowed, additional 20 €
Possibility of WE, or 2 nights minimum, for 350 € depending on the period from Friday 3 p.m. to Sunday 3 p.m.

Perfect chalet in lovely location

This chalet is perfect! Beautiful, well built, cozy and comfortable. The pictures don't do it justice. Francois has created the perfect retreat in the Vosges mountains for a break from everyday life. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed in the chalet with a total of 7 friends for a week of biking. The chalet was proper and good. The welcome from and communication with the owner was good as well.

Wonderful chalet at a good location

My son and I greatly enjoyed our stay. The owner is a friendly man, easy-going, with whom I practiced my rather rusty French ;-) The chalet is roomy - there's enough place for 6 adults - and it's located on a hill with a great view of the village of Ventron below and the skislopes on the other side of the valley. The sauna is there and works fine according to my son. We also enjoyed the woodstove on colder days, and the shower. The kitchen is good and there's a dishwasher. There's ample room to park 2, maybe 3 cars. Ventron is a small village that has a couple of restaurants and a "Tabac", but no supermarkets. The "Hautes Vosges" are scenic and great for hiking and driving around on a motorcycle or car. Note that you have to bring your own bedlinnen, towels and bin liners. If you want to use the woodstove, bring your own kindling to start the fire. The beds are 1.9 m long, so taller people like me will have their feet stick out. The deposit and electricity bill (not included, but fair price per kWh) need to be paid in cash.

Très bon séjour dans ce chalet. François est accueillant et nous avait même allumé le feu pour notre arrivée. Il est très réactif et de bons conseils. Le logement est propre et bien adapté pour 8 (4 adultes et 4 enfants). Le sauna est très agréable pour un moment détente. La piste du ventron a 10min est super pour avec les enfants.

Sehr schönes Chalet mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht!Die Kommunikation mit dem Hausbesitzer war etwas schwierig, da er ausschließlich Französisch sprach.Auch die Fernsehkanäle waren nur auf Französisch verfügbar, was wir nicht so ideal fanden.Ansonsten war jedoch alles bestens, und ich würde dieses Chalet auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Compleet ingericht huis. Prachtig (grotendeels omheind) terras op het zuiden met fraai uitzicht. Mooie omgeving, wel veel steile wegen. Vriendelijke eigenaar. Bedden zijn smal (1.40 m) en matras was voor ons wat te hard. Heerlijke douche. Comfortabele (lig)stoelen hebben wij gemist. Voor 4 volwassen en 2 of 3 kinderen prima. Met meer volwassenen is het, ons inziens, te klein. Supermarkt op 5 km. Stokbrood en croissants kunnen in het dorp worden gehaald.

Séjour en février, sans neige au début mais avec une chute de neige importante en milieu de semaine.beaucoup de randonnées dans la neige en partant de la station et en allant vers l'Alsace.Chalet agréable, bien isolé et bien chauffé. Le sauna en fin de journée est très appréciable.
