About this property

Great family house! Great beach access and ocean views! Newly renovated!

Newly renovated for summer of 2025! Our family loves to vacation at the beach and we think you will find that our house has everything your family needs to enjoy a relaxing time on BHI.

Our home is 2500 square feet all on one level and offers generous living, dining and kitchen areas in the center between the 2 sleeping areas. Great views from every room. This layout makes it a perfect vacation rental for 2 small or one large family. The house is 50 steps across the street from the beach access and a 7 minute walk to the Bald Head Island Club. It is a short ten minute ride to the Maritime Market and about the same distance to the island ferry landing.

• East side has 2 Queen bedrooms, Bedroom with a bunk single, twin bed and a twin mattress that can be placed on the floor and a bathroom to share.

• West side has King Bedroom with en suite full bath, Full bathroom off of hallway and bedroom with 2 twins.

• Center living area has a large seating area and wet bar as well as a smaller seating area and a casual dining/game table. Large dining area seats 10 comfortably. Also included is a Smart TV, DVD/CD player and a wide variety of music CD’s

• Galley kitchen (renovated spring of 2022) opens to the living area with a breakfast bar for 4. The kitchen is well equipped for all of your cooking needs.

• South west facing large front deck with screen porch as well as a new sun room which has a spectacular view of South Beach. Beautiful place to watch the sunset! A new deck on the East side of the house also provides great views and more outside space to enjoy the ocean breeze and relax.

• Cool and inviting north east facing rear deck is a great place for quiet afternoon reading.

• Outdoor shower with dressing area to refresh yourself and the kids after a day at the beach.

We have 3 four passenger golf carts. There is decking under the house which is a nice hangout area for kids with mini-golf, ping pong, pop-a-shot, corn hole and other games. There is an updated outdoor shower. There is all new paint inside and out, an ice maker and beverage fridge.

• Shoals Club and Bald Head Island Club Guest Memberships are available for purchase.

• Complimentary secure WI-FI

• Supply of paper products

• Pantry of herbs, spices, condiments, plastic wrap, aluminum foil,etc. We ask our guests to use what they need, leave what they found for the next guests.

• Complimentary Dish washer soap, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, soap and cleaning products.

• Fresh clean bedding and towels and beach towels

• Kitchen has plenty of dishes, glassware, cookware. Appliances include refrigerator/freezer with icemaker, wall oven with microwave, convection toaster oven, 5 burner solid surface cook top, coffeemaker, coffee bean grinder, griddle,

• Three 4-passenger golf carts

• Bicycles (not guaranteed)

• Beach chairs, umbrella and beach toys, boogie boards

This was a perfect beach getaway for our family vacation We had a wonderful stay at this recently renovated home right across from the beach. The house was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The outdoor space and decks were a huge bonus—plenty of seating, a hammock, and fun activities that kept everyone entertained. Gorgeous home with sunrise views from the back deck and incredible sunset views from the front! We were so appreciative for the beach toys, chairs for everyone and towels! Bikes for everyone too!! Ground level games kept the kids busy while adults enjoyed beverages on one of the many outdoor gathering spaces around the house. Beach was steps away and gave kids ability to run home and grab snacks when they needed to… 3 golf carts let us all do our own thing. Kathy was super responsive and flexible with us! Just don’t forget shampoo and conditioner!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house. It was clean, in a great location, provided ample room for our group of 6 and it had a great view. It's centrally located on the island so the activities at the marina weren't far away and neither were the activities by the conservancy.

The property was great especially being right across from the beach! We really enjoyed the ping pong table and basketball hoop and having 3 golf carts to use was so convenient. Kitchen was very well stocked as well. Thank you for a great weekend!

We are from the DC area and discovered BHI several years ago. We love to come here for vacation and are fortunate to have found a home to call our own. BHI is the perfect place to relax and really unplug.

Why they chose this property

We love the location right across from the beach and the view of the sunsets and shipping channel. We love riding our bike to the BHI club and the fact that we are just a 10 - 15 minute cart ride to almost anything on the island.
