Villa Pastis and its two holiday rentals are ideally located on the hills above Barjac, a Renaissance town, nestled in a peaceful, secluded green setting with an unobstructed view of the valley and the Cévennes. Both cottages offer a high level of comfort and each features a private terrace leading to the pool, which is situated between the two cottages and offers a view of the sunsets. It is an inspiring place perfect for relaxation, where the owners live year-round.
The “Vert” cottage is a separate unit adjoining the owners’ home, with which it shares the main entrance. It has its own secure door leading from the entry hall.
Located on one level with no steps, it consists of a living room with a high-quality sofa bed (140 cm), a TV, and Wi-Fi, a large bedroom with a double bed (160 cm), and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet. The open-concept kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, a hob, a combination oven, and a dishwasher. All rooms are air-conditioned. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room and bedroom open onto the private terrace, which is equipped with a plancha grill and patio furniture. We provide high-quality bed linens and towels. Other household items, particularly in the kitchen, are provided to make your stay more comfortable.
A car is recommended to fully enjoy the wide range of activities and places to visit in the region. A parking space is provided on the property.
However, a car is not absolutely necessary. The lavender fields and vineyards are directly accessible right outside the house. Many natural sites can be explored directly from Villa Pastis. Barjac is just 1.5 km downhill. It takes about 15 minutes to walk there along a path. This path is not lit at night. The walk back uphill takes only about 20 minutes. From Barjac, four direct buses a day run to Avignon during peak season. This same route also serves Vallon Pont d’Arc in the opposite direction.
Barjac is an ideal base for exploring the Ardèche to the north, the majestic Rhône River to the east as it flows through Provence, or the Mediterranean to the south.
