About this property
★ Downtown Mountain View in Helen ★ Charming + Serene Views
Enjoy your stay at Hilltop Hideout of Helen, which is located directly above the famous Georgia Mountain Coaster inside of Helen, GA. This cozy chalet is the perfect destination spot for a family or friends looking for an Alpine Adventure in a Bavarian Themed Town in Appalachia OR if you are looking for a "flexcation," there is also an office space for working while still getting away! Appreciate the beautiful hilltop view on a large patio while indulging in nature and your favorite beverage. Take advantage of the multiple attractions, state parks, wineries, breweries, food, fishing, tubing, and family friendly activities. Don't forget to visit a few favorites: Unicoi State Park, Anna Ruby Falls, Dukes Creek Falls, Yonah Mountain, Cool River Tubing, Helen Waterpark, Alpine Mini Golf, Dukes Creek Mines, Woody's Mountain Bikes, Alpine Fun Factory, Hardman Farm State Historic Sight, Charlemagne's Kingdom, and more!
We own 5 chalets on the hill. The other 4 sleep 12. Message me if you would like to check availability on all 5. We have been a popular destination for family reunions and wedding parties.
Note, we named these Hilltop Hideout because they are located at the top of a hill. Walking to town is an option (my kids always choose it), but it is steep. Plan accordingly.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

My family had a great time Wonderful place to stay , convenient , very clean , perfect size for us.Karen was very responsive and helpful Look forward to staying with her again
Home was easy to access and in a great location just at the beginning of Helen tourist area. Great view from deck and home was super clean and very cozy. We enjoyed the electric firplace and the available Hulu and Netflix. Great family relaxation. Thank you!
Great property, very clean, comfy beds and close to downtown. We would definitely stay here again and plan to make it a birthday tradition for our twins.
This was the perfect spot for a long Christmas weekend in Helen. We were a group of 5 adults and 2 babies. We appreciated the little extras for the children and the glider in the upstairs bedroom. Recommend bringing a baby gate for the stairs if you are traveling with littles as they are quite steep. The location was great- we made the less than 5 min drive into the town center as the house is up on quite a steep incline, and not walkable with strollers.
Karen was very easy to communicate with. The house was immaculate and very comfortable. The area was quiet but extremely close to downtown. We were able to go and enjoy the sights and come back to the house and relax with no noise, around us. Would definitely recommend!
We had an absolutely wonderful time in Helen GA. The property was close to everything. We did walk down once from the unit to town but it was a little steep but not bad at all. Rest of our stay we drove down, had no issues finding parking which was only 10 for the entire day. I recommend this property 100%
The property was an excellent place for our Thanksgiving celebration with family from different states. The accommodations were perfect, lots to see in Helen, wonderful restaurants and beautiful weather.
Had a great stay at this home in Helen, clean, comfy, well kept & easy to communicate with the owner! Had the fastest & simplest checkout of any airport option / VRBO I’ve EVER had. Nothing but good things to say !
This property was clean and very close to everything. Great place to stay in Helen!

Why they chose this property
We traveled to Helen and fell in love with it. We knew this would be a place we would want to return again and again. While on vacation, we found a builder who had just started his build. We knew we HAD to buy it and share it with you guys, while still having a place for a family to vacation.
What makes this property unique
This home is uniquely suited for those of you who don't want an older home and value the benefits of a new home, which is decorated and filled for peaceful enjoyment. It give you the benefit of escaping to nature while still being so close to town and all the attractions and restaurants. The best of both worlds.
