Relaxing in the woods

If you like to fall asleep to the sounds of nature, this is a great place to stay. Being in the woods is relaxing to me, so I liked this particular VRBO. The proprietor was very friendly and accommodating. The property was very clean and comfortable.

Diane seemed a fabulous guest, although our time was quite brief because of her quite important family agenda. Given more opportunity to get to know Diane, I'm betting she'd be a super-excellent person about whom one would say "Really enjoyed having her and she'd be welcome back ANY TIME!!" Hopefully there might be such an opportunity again in the future. I sensed a very genuine and highly intellectual persona! Diane has a very impressive professional career going, from what she shared online. An extraordinary personality, I'd guess! Dave is an incredibly helpful and kind man. I had a great time having conversations with him. The apartment is in good condition and clean. The property is the real asset. It is tucked away in the woods and very peaceful.

Austin was super-keen to comply with house rules, and always willing to lend a hand. (This was especially kind of him during my shoulder surgery recovery which prohibited me from doing certain items). He respectfully cleaned up after himself and was a tremendous communicator.

Unwind, Unplug and Rejuvenate

The apartment was a perfect retreat from a long day at the office. Listening to the sounds of nature was the perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate.

Rainy

He was such a gracious host. My trip was rainy and when I arrived it was dark. He made sure I knew just how to get to his property. It was just what I wanted and the rain was a lovely touch. I saw deer and it’s just so quiet and lovely.

Looking for the basics!

Very simple and clean, no tv but provides WIFI. Which was all I needed. I board my horse nearby and working with her and trainer. In the evenings just wanted to relax enjoy the quiet and solitude. Host made sure to let me know if I needed anything to let him know. Just what I was looking for.

Perfect

Stayed here for 2 months. I was perfect. So quiet and serene. David was awesome. Kept to himself but had no problem talking when I wanted someone to talk to. I hope we stay friends. Waxhaw is a great little town. Great restaurants, bars and a tap house within 10 minutes. Everyone was friendly and made me like I was home! This place is great for long stays. Kitchen is big, bed was comfortable, I couldn’t have asked for more. I’d have rented this place for longer but I found a home and had to leave. David even introduced me to a great realtor! This place was great and I’d rent again and suggest others do too.

Perfect fit my summer internship

David's property worked out perfectly for my son's summer internship. It was about a 30 minute drive for him to get to Richburg, SC. Having grown up in the country, he felt very comfortable outside of Waxhaw. Accommodations worked well for his needs. Most importantly, David was very easy to work with. It is easy to see that he takes pride is his place and wanted my son to have a great experience for his summer. When my son's car started having problems, David even stepped in a lent a hand. As a father located over a 1,000 miles away - I very much appreciated his help. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!

Waxhaw

Location was perfect for my visit and so very reasonable. The owner was solicitous and advised me when there would be noise or activities that might impact m e. And when the airline misplaced my bag Dave even offered me a ride back to the airport.
