The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Leave the beds unmade. No need to strip them. Place used towels in the laundry basket inside master bedroom. Set thermostat to 72F for our cleaning crew to be cool. 
Empty all the trash and dispose at the outside trash can located on the 1st floor. Move all furniture and items back to original locations.
Check all doors to be sure that they are locked. please send a quick text to (956.620.1503) when you have checked out. Safe Travels
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Immediately after booking we will email a welcome email with our house rules. By not using your 48 hour cancel option we all agree on house rules.
Spring Break 2022, an email regarding rules for those dates will be emailed. Guest must reply back I agree to Spring Break rules and policies.
Only the number of guests on the reservation can hangout inside the condo. Absolutely no invites can hangout inside the condo unless host approves.

Nice location, quiet and close to beach.

Clean and spacious condo. Walked on beach every day. Owners were very considerate and attentive. Internet connectivity was very good. Definitely recommend to our friends!

OUR STAY WAS FANTASTIC!!

Condo was super clean and had everything we needed; well stocked newly remodeled kitchen, beach chairs and toys, towels and bedding. We were steps away from the pool, hot tub, and ocean. Condo community was friendly and welcoming. Host went above and beyond for us. We would love to return.

More than we expected

The unit is very spacious, nice and clean. The owners were very communicative before we arrived to assure that we could get right to the place on the island. I especially appreciated the check in procedures as easy and straight forward.

Friends get away

This is the 5th year, my husband and I have come back to SPI. This time we tried a new property and must say it was wonderful. The resort was beautiful, location fantastic. The location of our condo was perfect! Close to the pool and the ocean view was breathtaking. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The place was stocked with all the necessities and more. No need to spend extra on running to the store right away. We loved our stay at SPI. The resort was doing some renovations that made some days a little noisier than usual,but it wasnt a big issue. Strangely enough the alarms had gone off a few times without much direction or information. We had storms come in the last day which made for an in interesting start to the day. Great yimes always at SPI. Love making memories. Thank you for being wonderful hosts.The resort was

Excellent VRBO experience

The condo was decorated very nicely and had all of the modern amenities. The beds were very comfortable. We were provided a basic starter kit of coffee/creamer and had a nice selection of spices for our cooking needs. All essentials for the kitchen were available for us to use. The condo has a great ocean view and the sunrise was right there every morning for us to view. The beach and pool are convenient to the condo location. All communication with the owners was great. Any questions we had were answered immediately and we even received a call the day we were checking in to explain where we could go shopping for our groceries and explain some details about the check in process. I highly recommend this condo for travelers going to South Padre Island. You WILL NOT be disappointed. We would love to rent from this owner again in the future.

Perfect SPI getaway!

If you are looking for the perfect place to stay with your family on South Padre Island - you just found it! I truly can not say enough about how wonderful this condo is and how great the hosts are to work with. We stayed for a week with our two teenage daughters and loved everything! The location is on the north end of the island - away from the congestion of the "downtown" area, and litterally steps away from the ocean. The condo is spotless clean, roomy and has everything you could think of to make it your home during your stay. Keypad entry gives you worry-free access - no need to keep track of keys when you are out and about. The condo has a blender, ice machine and small coolers for perfect beach time beverages! The beds are SO comfortable that I actually took pictures of the brand of sheets so I could buy some for home!! The hosts were amazing, great communication! A small grill on the deck allowed us to save money and cook a few meals in! I guess my only complaint would be that we had to leave!! Thank you so much for sharing your amazing space with us - we will be back!!

Amazing Vacation Week

Communication before and during our trip was Amazing! There is an app that has everything you need to know from info before your trip, how to use the remote, to everything in the condo, what to do in town, and when you leave! No trouble checking in. Had a small snafoo getting in the condo but called the owner and was in within a few minutes. Power went out for a little less than an hour one night but again, super fast communication with the owner. The view from the balcony was great with a view of the ocean. Had nice patio furniture to sit on. Beyond necessary items in the kitchen. Anything you could want. We did fix breakfast a couple mornings. Large bedrooms and nice bathrooms. Plenty of room in the living room and plenty of space to eat. Only a few stairs and only 1 other condo entrance beside us. The absolute only downsides I would say is there was a lot of construction above us which we heard most mornings but that's no fault of Javi and his wife. The bedroom door needed replaced due to hearing wind but they have ordered it, it's just not arrived yet. We just put a towel down and it worked fine. It was nice to be able to just walk down to the beach as well. We loved our stay and 100% would recommend and stay again!

Great stay!

We have been coming to SPI for many years, and this is now our favorite condo. We love the Bahia Mar complex, as well. The condo location was ideal, and the ocean view was wonderful. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were also much more comfortable than beds from prior condos. We felt this condo was true to the VRBO description. Lastly, Javi and Alma were so easy and kind to work with on the booking and trip. We will be back.

Great Vacation Experience

We stayed at Bahia Mar in the 1980’s so it this an older property But it is still really nice. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We stayed in unit 155 which has been updated and perfect for two adults and two teenagers. We felt really safe with it being a gated community and security on property.. I recommend this property.

Don’t pass on this one! Excellent property, location and hosts.

This updated, clean condo allowed us to unwind comfortably after fun days at the beach and pool. A huge plus that we had quick access to both. Nice private view of the gulf with no other balconies or patios in site. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The ice maker, wine goblets and K cups added that special touch to our stay. Javi and Alma went above and beyond throughout the process from booking to checking out. So helpful and accommodating. We’ll book another stay the next time we visit!

I would have given this 5 stars except for the property on the outside was very run down looking. The condo on the inside and balcony though was very clean, spacious, and comfortable for your family. Communication was very good by the owners and they beach was also a good location for walking the beach.

Amazing!

My stay was great, Condo is located in a great area, I had a few windy days but I could still sit outside. The Sun doesn’t hit directly on patio which is plus when it’s hot. Extra amenities were awesome shampoo, conditioner, shower gel & laundry pods and more….!

Great location with ocean view

This condo is in a great location with a view of the beach and ocean. You are close enough to hear the waves crash while watching the sun rise. The 6 of us fit easily and there were plenty of outlets to charge all of our devices. It has been updated nicely giving it a newer feel. The owners responded quickly and were very attentive to any needs we had. I would book this property again.

Spectacular!

This lovely condo was just perfect for our family vacation. Very clean and beautifully decorated, we all fit comfortably. The view from the balcony was great. We enjoyed the grill and the many little conveniences around the condo. Charging stations, hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers, board games, clear remote instructions, fully stocked cooking equipment and appliances. The owners were also very kind and attentive to any questions we had. The beach and pool were about a 30 second walk from the door. It was wonderful. Don’t hesitate to book this fabulous property!
