I had some last minute changes to my stay in the area and decided not to stay in the cabin. Nick was very cordial & communicated very effectively. I do not think it would be fair to give a review since we did not even go into the cabin.
Cabin was as described. It was clean enough. Provided the basics. Everything was in working order, the morning of check out the pipe under the kitchen sink became disconnected and I wasn’t able to use the sink. I texted the owner and sent an email. No response. My only complaint is communication. The only communication I got was automatic communications.
This property was amazing! The location was very central to Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge. You are up high enough to have that mountain feel and views but not so high up that it was a rough drive. It was very clean upon arrival. We had everything we needed there. Would definitely recommend! It was the perfect spot for our family of 4 to enjoy some time together before the craziness of the holiday season.
We loved our stay! Cabin was clean and peaceful. I would just say, if you’re visiting in the winter to be prepared in case you get snowed in. The cabin is up on a mountain hill so it’s not easy to access during a snow storm. But that’s also what makes the view so great!!

Thanks for your patience with the weather Brittany. It was great having you!
Owner does not respond to issues. Owner provided an email & phone number & did not respond to my messages to either. I finally received one response to a message via VRBO app. However the biggest issue, no hot water in one of two showers, was never addressed or remedied.
Very nice place. Inside was clean a roomy. Big enough for family of 4. Could possibily fit 6.
Hot tub water had a bad smell, water was clean just stunk. Trees are very close to cabin and back porch so the view is not that good off the back porch. Overall very nice cabin. Would stay again.
This was a great property for this mother/daughter/aunts trip. It was close to Pigeon Forge where we spent the most of our time but gave us evenings and mornings in a cozy cabin in the woods. Nice updates and furnishings. Super comfy beds! Great table for playing board games and cards either inside or outside in the screened deck. No time to use the hot tub but it looked clean and lovely. Highly recommend!
Overall extremely happy with our stay. There were a couple of maintenance issues that I relayed to the property owner/manager that included the broken latch on the back door (let in a good bit of cold air) and the fireplace (loved that it was wood burning) insert needed to be replaced. My only real complaint for the stay was that the beds were not comfortable and felt cheap. I feel with some new mattresses, this place would be a fantastic cabin, especially with how clean it was and how cozy the sheet/linens were.

Thanks for the response Eric. We'll definitely look into those things. We're actually having a new patio door put in very soon!
Cabin was great but lots of cleaning issues. Hot tub didn’t work correctly until last day.

We had someone out to check on the hot tub during your stay and also walked you through the steps to fix it prior to that. Per your texts, the tub was working and you utilized it each night. I acknowledge the picture you sent of what looked like a small coffee stain on the kitchen floor but am unaware of any other issues that need to be remedied. We have great cleanliness reviews on all other platforms.
Overall it was a good cabin just needs a few improvements.
The cabin location was fairly convenient to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.. The streets were steep and narrow in some cases. The cabin lacked some things like a can opener and a flat cookie sheet. We were only given 2 dishwasher tablets for a four night stay. Everything else was good and fit our needs.

Good for small family with small kids.
Good location overall but few issue with cold weather. Porch door not working and heather would not go higher to heat the cabin. No condition to shower and had to buy for my wife and kids. Could be better with this little details.

With the single digit temperatures, 40mph wind gusts, and intermittent power outages, we made you aware that the heat may be an issue and recommend you find another place due to the extreme weather event. The property has been inspected and no issues were found with the porch door or heat pump. Again, the power outages contributed to the cabin being slow to regain temperature as well as not allowing the well pump to operate. This was an extremely rare weather event that we made sure you were aware of prior to continuing your stay. We have not received any other negative feedback in our reviews regarding the heat or porch door.
Nice cabin between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Very clean. Felt like we were up in the trees. Very nice screened in porch. Nicely decorated and homey.
Could have had more towels for use in showers and hot tub!!! Kitchen was lacking in supplies, no can opener, no baking sheets!
Screened porch could have used some more comfortable chairs.
Lastly, the shooting range that was near by should perhaps be listed in the description. The first day we were surprised to hear all the gunshots throughout the afternoon!

The proximity of the gun range was, and always has been listed in our description at the time you booked. Our screened in porch photos showed the type of seating we have. We leave enough towel sets for six people, which is the max capacity of our cabin.
It was advertised with a jetted tub downstairs and there was none. The railing on the stairs leading to the upstairs was loose and did not feel secure, moving when it was held on to. An ectricall cover was missing in the upstairs bedroom and is unsafe. The doors leading to the deck off of this same bedroom were standing open upon arrival Wed evening.
There were limited supplies given for the stay....1 roll of PT, 1 dishwasher packet. Towels, TP and other items were well stocked. The firing range close to the house was a definate negative for us. The location was good, 1/2 way between Gat and PF.

Hi Pete, we do clearly explain that there is a sportsman's range down the hill from our cabin, but I am sorry to hear it was an inconvenience. We replaced the electrical outlet cover as soon as we were made aware. Both of the handrails were evaluated by our maintenance crew recently and found to be satisfactory. We will keep an eye on them. Our supplies are listed as "starter amenities", so we do encourage travelers to purchase or bring extra should they require more as we do not provide daily housekeeping. Glad you enjoyed the location!
Easy check in and out. The drive is a little difficult to see and navigate especially at night but not really a problem. Just leave the outside light on if you go out after dark.

Thanks Kenny! We have reflectors along the driveway to help guests get in and out.
10/10 for this stay ! When we arrived, we were early so I messaged Nick and he allowed us to get in early. That was awesome. It was very clean, had everything we needed. The back screened in porch with a swing, and hot tub was amazing! And the view!! Right in the middle of Gatlinburg and PF. This family of 5 absolutely loved it! We’ll definitely be back!

Thank you Brooke! We are always improving our properties so please come back and see us!
We had a great time staying here! Check in and out we’re super easy. We loved the location and the cabin. It was perfect for our family of 4. I’m not even sure I would call the a complaint but the only thing my husband and I found that wasn’t completely perfect was that it was a little dusty in some areas (ceiling fans, ledges, floors under chairs and beds, etc). I know most owners aren’t in the cabins often and don’t see how well the cleaners do, so I wouldn’t blame you guys at all! Otherwise I would say everything was absolutely perfect! I’m sure we will be back!

Thank you Lindy! We're always trying to improve so I thank you for the feedback.
My wife Kristina, daughters Lula and Hattie, and I are excited to share our beautiful vacation rentals with you! Our goal is to provide you with a clean and comfortable stay during your Smoky Mountain vacation with that "home away from home" feel. We take a lot of pride in maintaining our cabins and aim to provide a seamless guest experience. We're always available to answer any questions you may have before, during, and even after your stay.
It only took a couple of visits to east Tennessee for us to fall in love with the area. We love visiting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, so we decided to invest in properties that we could also share with others. It started out with our four bedroom cabin in Sevierville in 2019, which opened to great reviews.
Our cabins are self-managed, meaning there's no middle man relied upon to take care of any maintenance or upkeep, and no extra management fees. We vet all of the work done to our cabins to make sure jobs are completed thoroughly. If for some reason an issue does arise during your stay, you will be able to contact us directly so that we can make it right.
Beyond managing cabins, Nick is a Coast Guard Reservist and likes to play outside around the property. Kristina works for a local school district, likes to travel, and enjoys family time as much as Dad does. Between two little ones, two ponies, and several chickens, there's never a dull moment in our household! We usually come to East Tennessee at least quarterly to stay at one of our properties and often bring along family and friends. There's always something new to see or do in the area, especially with the change of seasons.
Thank you for considering our properties and we look forward to hosting you!
