GM239: Private Hot Tub + Family/Dog Friendly + Central AC

UPDATE: Bookings made after Aug 1, 2024 include the Black Butte Ranch resort fees (12%) in the rate. When price comparing, make sure to ask other property owners if the resort fees are included or collected later.

GM239 owners are gradually refreshing this 90's split level into a cozy forest chalet that is perfect for families of various sizes to enjoy all seasons of adventures. Sleep comfortably (hotel quality mattresses) with central air. The outdoor hot tub has a gorgeous and private view of the forest. We welcome dogs (pet fee $50/day for up to two dogs). Please specify "pets" when searching.

High speed internet will allow you to stay connected while enjoying the Black Butte amenities (6 pools, golf, miles of walking and biking trails, stables, fitness, pickleball, parks). Just down the hill from the Glaze Meadow Golf Clubhouse, the home backs to the forest (where wildlife wander daily). The wide, covered front patio is perfect for watching little ones play in the cul-de-sac. In the Winter, the large fireplace and unlimited firewood will win your heart over. Kids & teens enjoy a newly added den (65" TV, Wii, HDMI cables for gaming). All new kitchen appliances.

Guests have full access to bikes & garage (no indoor car parking). The home is well supplied with everything you need for a family getaway (toys, games, puzzles, pool towels, firewood, grill, fully stocked kitchen complete with spices and Ziplocks, etc).

Remote keypad lock provides security (individualized guest codes) and ease of access. Guests will be invited to use virtual welcome manual which will provide detailed information and FAQ. Owners are extremely responsive and happy to help with any additional questions.

Unfortunately, the home is not fully wheelchair accessible given 4-5 steps dividing most levels including the kitchen and main living area. Also, if you have young bikers, be advised that while only a short bike ride down to the pickleball courts and Glaze Meadow Pool, the home sits at the top of a couple of decent hills on the way back. While we hope to update the kitchen at some point, it is quite small and outdated compared to the rest of the home. We do provide everything you need for full-family meal storage & prep (including a second fridge/freezer in the garage).

Guests rave about the usability, cleanliness, and quality of this home. We frequently receive messages about it being the best home they've stayed at on the ranch. We'd love to welcome your group of up to 12 (11 beds + foldable 12th mattress or pack-n-play).

Amazing House

We enjoyed our seven day stay at the property. The house was roomy and welcoming, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the deck offered peaceful and quiet evenings. As a nice touch, the house offered supplies such as toothbrushes and toothpaste for the forgetful teenagers. We loved watching the deer moving up and down the backyard (really the national forest). Jessica has been very accomodating and followed up right away when we had questions. Everyone loved the house and asked to come back. We will be looking to rent here again in the near future.

Wonderful Fall Stay

We had a great stay at this dog friendly home in Black Butte. So many games for the kids for both inside and outside entertainment. The hiccups we faced when checking in were quickly addressed by the owners. We can't wait to come stay at the house again and enjoy Black Butte for a bit longer!

Relaxation in the woods

Great location. Very quiet and private. If the weather had been better during our stay we’d have spent a lot more time out back on the deck. It was very serene.

A beautiful home at a beautiful place

We loved Black Butte Ranch and this was a perfect house for our stay. It was clean, quiet, well-stocked and had the best backyard to feel we were truly in the forest. We all had a great time!

Great house in Black Butte with dogs!

We really enjoyed our time here. It was great for our family and dogs. Liked the location, with the forest in the back. Appreciated that stroller, bikes, games, pickleball racquets and more were provided. Communication with Jessica was always quick and helpful.

Incredible house!

We have visited Black Butte in many vacation rentals and this was our best one. It was VERY organized and they had thought of everything we might need for a wonderful stay. I appreciated the labels around the house for where things were supposed to go! It's a beautiful property and well appointed. Communication with the property manager was also very good. They allowed us to drop bags in the garage early so we could then go grocery shopping without our car full of our suitcases! Highly recommend this house!

Beautiful air conditioned Glaze Meadow home. Easily accommodated six adults.

The property has been remodeled with updated bathrooms and an outdoor hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed. It also has a large deck with a table with seating for six and two lounge chairs. And as an added bonus, the property owner was very responsive and nice when we contacted her. We will definitely be back to this house.

Quick winter escape

Black Butte split level with just the right amount of character. We were looking for a short getaway and some fun in the snow. Priorities were a nice fire, and a hot tub. GM 239 delivered, big old school fireplace, hot tubs heated and ready, perfect. House is as described with smooth check-in, great communication, pro team all the way, look forward to coming back.

Wonderful Location and Amenities

This home is so warm and welcoming with a great floor plan and amenities for multiple people to enjoy staying in. The kitchen is stocked with all that you will need if you like to cook. The bunk room had lots of toys for a child to play. There are bikes, stroller and scooters so you don't need to haul your own. The deck and hot tub look out at the trees and offer a feeling of privacy. On top of all this it was very clean! We loved staying at this home and will come again.

Checking in was not fun as the welcome center did not have our group registered for the weekend. Other than that blip, our experience was wonderful. The house was clear, cozy and included lots of puzzles and games. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. We will consider this property again in the future.

Great location- house has everything you need

We had an excellent experience renting this property. First, the house is stocked with everything you need. Basic spices, soap, shampoo, laundry items, etc. I Not only that, there’s also plenty of pots and pans and cooking supplies - and several tvs with access to streaming channels for entertainment. There are games for all ages and toys for younger kids! The hot tub indoor worked fantastic! We didn’t even have to go to the outdoor hot tub… (But we could have) And it was gorgeous outside, quiet, and beautiful. We saw deer in the yard, heard birds and enjoyed the serene forest. Golfers can walk to the course. Swimmers don’t need to pack towels or floaties because there are plenty in the garage. Bikers here is your paradise! It’s just steps to the bike path and the house is stocked with bikes and helmets for all ages! There were even tennis racquets and pickle ball stuff! The home has been renovated in some of the bathrooms and it is very convenient that there are so many king beds. That suited our family very well. Everyone of us enjoyed the outdoors as well as the indoors. It was a fantastic family reunion and we very much appreciated staying in your lovely home.

Awesome home in everyway!

Our family of aunt&uncle bringing nieces&their fams for our traditional birthday/labor day celebration and so sad we only had only a 3 day weekend to stay in this exremely well appointed and clean home as we all agreed this is far and above one of the very best of many BBR homes we have enjoyed over the years. The separate spaces for kids hang out with a TV room and toys of their own and adults to hang out with the TV sports channels of their own. This is a whole house in excellent working order to incl. multiple televisions, big and small kitchen appliances,hot tub,AC, bathroom fixtures,water pressure,comfortable beds. Many games,dvds,puzzles. The kitchen was A+ had it all for making anything from pancakes to a huge Thanksgiving dinner plus new outdoor grill with extra propane tanks at the ready. Very quiet private culdesac location close to GM pools and the backyard is open forest where we were visited by a young deer family several times daily, in past have seen wild turkey flocks and elk herd in similar BBR locales. The online Welcome Guest book will be sent prior to your arrival with all extra information (ie. whats in the house and what to bring,passwords,door codes and operation instructions, directions, check procedure, etc.

We had a wonderful time at the Alpine Fir house! Our kids LOVED the toys and games and we loved the spa. The home is well stocked with pantry staples, bikes, helmets, cooking utensils, and pretty much anything else you could need. It was a quick 7 minute bike ride to the GMRC while also being secluded off the main roads. We look forward to renting this home for years to come.

Perfect spot in Black Butte

We had a great long weekend at Jessica’s home in Black Butte. The layout was perfect for our group. The kitchen had everything we needed and the house was super clean. The communication was fantastic throughout our whole stay.

Wonderful Home!!

Our party had 4 Adults, 3 young adults, 2 teenagers and one pug. We all had a great time, playing games, using the hot tub, relaxing by the fire watching movies! The home was immaculate, very welcoming and pet friendly. Kitchen is well stocked and we just loved the layout of the place. We would definitely reserve this home again in Black Butte. Property manager Jessica is amazing!

We love BBR and have always wanted a place of our own on the ranch. It's been exciting to optimize this hidden gem into a special place for families. We are working hard to gradually update decor and stock it with family and pet friendly vacation necessities. We (the owners) are a combination of busy families with kids/teens of various ages as well as a set of retirees, and we want to cater the home to meet all of those needs.

Why they chose this property

Private hot tub in the forest? YES. Dog friendly? YES. Family friendly with pack-n-play, BOB Stroller, high-chair, toys, Wii, games, puzzles, CHECK. Work/School friendly with high-speed internet and a stow-away desk? YEP. Fresh new carpet and paint and decor being updated including both master bathrooms looking amazing? Done! Three king bedrooms plus a bunk room? Of course! Walking distance to Glaze Meadow Golf Clubhouse ... Need we say more? We love this house and have done so much to help you love it too. Cons: we are located at the top of some large hills, so if you have young kids and want easy bike access to most of the ranch, our home is not ideal for you. We also are a split level so while we have one main floor bedrooms, guests need to be able to manage stairs up to 3 of the 4 steps down to the kitchen/dining & family rooms.
