The apartment consists of a Kitchen with a large living room, where you will find a very comfortable sofa bed for two people, one bedroom and dressing rooms all rigorously in modern style with warm colors typical of 'Tek' wood. The bright and welcoming bathroom, covered by a mosaic offers you a comfortable shower. Small private courtyard flourished in the warmer months. The apartment offers many comforts such as satellite TV, wi-fi connection with internet key (we do not provide a pc), air conditioning, heating system, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, hairdryer.

The Sestiere of Cannaregio in which the apartment is located, and more specifically ' Calle delle Muneghe ' offers many attractions for tourists who want to stay in an area served by the Venetian markets, typical shops, and restaurants that offer excellent cuisine. The most known way to reach Rialto and San Marco is called 'Strada Nuova”, which is a few minutes far from the apartment, along “Rio della Sensa.' The vaporetto stop more convenient is Sant 'Alvise only few minutes walk from the apartment.

Lovely apartment in quiet part of venice

We stayed in this apartment in August as family with two children. The apartment was lovely with modern equipment, two very comfortable beds (inc one sofa bed) and the essential air conditioning! Daniela was a really communicative and helpful host and gave us lots of information. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect Base to Explore Venice

We can't rate this property highly enough. Tucked away in a quiet area of Venice, but not too far from the Grand Canal and transport links to the whole city. Our stay was perfect. We arrived at the airport and were met from the water taxi and shown to the property, just a 5 minute walk from the first water taxi stop. As soon as we entered we were delighted with the ice cool air conditioning, and the delightful decor of the apartment. The space within the kitchen/living room is excellent and we used the fold down bed for our children which was very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. The main bedroom is beautifully decorated with exposed beams. There is ample storage and the bedroom leads into a high quality bathroom with an excellent shower. Our days out in Venice were memorable, and so was our stay in this beautiful apartment. If you are planning a visit to Venice and would like your own quiet space to return to, then look no further!

Off the beaten track, large apartment

The apartment is spacious with everything you would need, Daniela really has thought of everything. The location is what it says and is very much off the beaten track but with every street you move closer it gets busier. We arrived at Traviso airport late evening where Pietro was ready and waiting for us, he drove us to Venice and then walked us to the apartment (water taxi was also an option but walking was only 10 mins). I will admit arriving in the dark and it being so quiet around about the apartment I did feel a little uneasy. I certainly wouldn’t have liked to have been walking there alone so that’s maybe something to consider when booking but no reflection on the apartment itself. The apartment was clean, my only criticism really would be the bathroom could do with a freshen up. Very spacious rooms but also quiet a dark property but I think I this would be quite normal for properties in venice given the lay out, wouldn’t allow for many windows. This apartment only has 2 small windows and I wouldn’t recommend opening them as unfortunately we were then eaten alive by some sort of bug .... again that’s no reflection on the apartment but just some advice. Daniela was very helpful, responsive and kind through out the whole process.

Great stay in Venice

This is a fantastic apartment in a quieter part of the city. It was lovely and cool which made for great nights sleep in the summer heat. Daniela was a superb host and allowed us a later check in due to our night flight. Would absolutely recommend for couples and families of 4

A perfect place to stay ! A beautiful apartment in a great location . It felt like we saw the real Venice , close to great bars , restaurants and supermarkets. Within easy walking distance of all the main sights and attractions . Daniela and ms Monia were the perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough to help . We were met from the boat and escorted to the apartment . We would highly recommend this gorgeous apartment and will definitely be staying again on our next visit to Venice .

Stylish apartment in local’s Venice

Really enjoyed our stay; met from the river taxi easily and given the orientation. Within 2 ‘blocks’ of the Main Street with lots of restaurants and shops, and an interesting walk into the main tourist areas of Venice. Could have done it quicker but there was so much to see! The apartment has everything you need; we were a family of 3. The neighbourhood is lovely and quiet, a real contrast to the bustle you get in the rest of the city.

Lovely place for a family

The location was great. Quick walk to the Main Street but in a quiet part of Venice. Easy walk to grocery store, bakery, and an amazing pizza place. Shower pressure and hot water was nice. Well appointed with a Bialetti Moka express. The grocery store is in an old Italian teatro so it was fun to go in. Gelato place next to the grocery store was also very nice. Easy access to waterboat: San Marcuola stop. Loved our stay.

Lovely Quiet Apartment

Had a wonderful, brief stay in a very clean well furnished apartment in a lovely non-touristy and interesting area of the city. Plenty of good places to eat and drink nearby. We enjoyed our walks to the sights but looked forward to retreating to the quiet, 'local' neighbourhood of Cannaregio. The apartment was adequate for two adults and two teenagers. Daniela was a perfect hostess!! Thanks from us all.

Perfect Venetian Apartment

An immaculate and extremely comfortable apartment, exactly as described, in a very quiet and charming area well away from busy tourist centre, yet only 20 mins walk to the Rialto bridge. Excellent customer service from owner before our stay and we were met and guided to the apartment as promised. Only one stop by vaporetto from the airport and 5 mins walk to the apartment. Note, it is on the ground floor. The area has several local bars and osteria, mostly frequented by Venetians, perfect for canalside drinks (even in January), and also a supermarket and bakery just 2 mins away. Would thoroughly recommend this apartment and we would definitely stay there again.

A new stay in Venice!

Our hostess was easy to communicate with and also a nice person to connect with. We plan to stay with her again soon.The apartment was lovely, clean and easy to live in. The apartment had everything we needed. We stayed for 8 nights and it felt like home.We love this area...it is very lively, but the apartment is in a quiet area. We really enjoyed our time here! Perfect stay in Venice

Super clean and comfortable apartment in a quiet area of Cannareggio. Walk 1-2 blocks and you are in a great area with great coffee, bars, and all kinds of food from great easy pizza to high end dining. You can walk to St. Marc’s in 25 minutes, but honestly Cannareggio was our happy place.

An oasis in busy Venice

We loved our stay here. The property was as described and also easy to manage. The owner met us at the taxi stop and showed us to the lodgings; this was a kindness as we might not have found it otherwise. From there, everything was easy. There were restaurants and grocery shopping close by but the best part was staying in a residential area of Venice with few tourists. It was quiet and easy to get to and from. We could even walk into the heart of Venice and find our way back. A lovely time. I will definitely stay here again! (Also, the unit is accessible though may be hard of access because of bridges to get to/from the apartment to other areas for those with mobility issues).

Great location

Short but sweet visit to Venezia

Daniela was an amazing host. The communication was clear and detailed. The luxury loft apartment was just that. The bed was comfortable, it seemed to have been renovated recently as all appliances seemed brand new. We took the water bus to get to the loft but we could have walked to it in 15 minutes as our luggage was light. Nice quiet location with lots of restaurants nearby. 15 miute walk to Rialto Bridge. We'd definitely stay again.

The best place 😍

Venetian Paradise

My mom and I had the pleasure of staying here on our quick trip to Venice. We were overjoyed, the home was so beautiful and clean. Also the bed was so comfy which is very important when you are tired from vacation. We both slept better here than we had on our entire vacation. It was decorated beautifully, its location was perfect, and the owner was so kind to provide lots of recommendations. Everything we needed was provided, even things we didn’t know we needed. I would definitely stay again. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Venice, absolutely loved it.

Perfect

This was the perfect place for myself and my adult daughter. The beds (Daniela had arranged for the sofa bed to be made and was ready when we arrived) were comfortable and everything was clean. Daniela gave excellent instructions on checking in and out and provided us with several local recommendations for dining and getting around. Dishes were ample and tea, coffee, salt, etc... were on hand. We loved the location. Close enough for a quick walk to the city center, but in a neighborhood that was less crowded and noisy. The grocery store was a few minutes walk away and there were many restaurants and shops nearby. The ferry was also an easy walk. If I ever make it to Venice again would love to stay in this exact spot!

a true gem in the heart of Venice

We can not say enough positives about this little apartment in Venice. 1. Daniella, our host was amazing, met us at the vaporrato stop and got us situated, Daniella was easy to reach and checked in on us throughout our stay. 2. The apartment was perfect for 2, super clean, comfortable bed, laundry with a great dryer, and very nice bathroom. safe safe neighborhood with easy access to restaurants, grocery stores (there are 2 in a 5min walk) and the train/ bus/ vaporatto. 3. There is nothing like Venice after dark, quiet, and romantic. 4. easy access to all that Venice is famous for, evening walks to San Marco were delightful. We felt like we were part of the local culture after 9 days and loved every minute of our vacation. Grazie mille Daniella for making our 30th anniversary perfect :)

Absolutely top notch accommodations and host!

The apartment had all up to date amenities with plenty of room. It was very clean and was everything we could wish for. Any help needed, the host was very accommodating. It was close to the water bus, close walking distance to all areas of Venice and the neighborhood was very quiet and safe. Loved it abs if we did a second trip it would be at this apartment!

Nice VRBO In Venice!

Off the beaten path, which considering the current visitation status of Venice , is a plus. Very nice spot in a bedroom community of Venice. Some construction/rebuild nearby but still very quiet. Great apartment, nice decor and amenities. Daniela was great!

I am the mother of two wonderful childrens, Gemma Maria of 5 years and Francesco of 3 and a half years, they are the joy of my life and together with my husband Pietro we live everyday life with love and enthusiasm.
When we can, we love to travel although long journeys have been neglected given the tender age of our kids. In recent years our favorite destinations are the Ligurian sea, as I was born in Genoa and I still have all my loved ones there, the Adriatic coast, the Cavallino in particular, half an hour by boat from Venice and the mountain, the Trentino above all.
I love dedicating myself with care and dedication to my 'tourist rental' business, always trying to assist my guests at the best before and during their stay because, having traveled a lot especially abroad before becoming a mother, I know how important it is to assist guests who are abroad and do not know the habits and customs of the place where they are ... in the work I do every day, the satisfaction of my guests is surely my first goal ..

Why they chose this property

In 2008 I was a single girl and I was looking for a very comfortable accomodation for myself...I fall in love with perla Grigia at the very first visit and decided that 'Pearl' had to become my future home. I bought it and lived there for a while but then I met my husband and together we have decided to move in a cottage in the countryside so I started to rent it with a great pleasure ..I wanted so much that someone else could enjoy it since so comfortable and cozy....my wish came through considering that now all my guests are so happy and satisfied about it and this is a big satisfaction for me since I have looked after it with so much love and care and to realize day by day that everyone is content of the stay in there...this makes my heart full of joy!

Perla Grigia is very comfortable , cozy, modern with an elegant touch, very quiet and located in a very Venetian area where you will feel to be a Venetian for sure.
