Neskowin Gem - Beach Front Property

If a stay in a cozy beach cabin full of character sounds like fun, this Neskowin vacation rental is for you! With ocean views from the house and easy beach access just steps away directly across from Proposal Rock, this home will help you get the most out of your coastal adventure.

The beach cabin may be small, but it has an efficient floor plan that makes the most of the limited space. There are 2 bedrooms both with queen beds. The one bedroom has a view of the ocean and its own door to the deck. The upstairs loft is accessible by a steep stair case, is an ideal place for children to play, and has the best view of the house! The loft is complete with 2 built in twin beds each with their own reading light, and USB charging port.

Next to the living room is an intimate dinning area with seating for 6 where your guests can sit and eat a nice meal together while telling stories and laughing together.

The full kitchen, just around the corner is well stocked with all the tools you need to cook up a hearty dinner after a day at the beach. And, with a stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and even a blender, your will have no trouble feeding your hungry vacationers.

The one-and-a-half bathrooms are also located on the main level, and one features a gorgeous claw-foot bathtub that would be great for a nice, relaxing bubble bath!

Outside, the large deck offers amazing ocean views, patio furniture and a gas grill. Just a short, 100' walk will take you to the edge of the sand, where you will be directly in front of the famous Proposal Rock, Neskowin's most recognizable landmark (at times the high tides can redirect the creek and wash sand out to the ocean).

Neskowin creek, which flows into the ocean just adjacent to the house is an amazing place to explore, and build sandcastles. You may choose to go for a walk along the beach, wade across the creek to get the café for a hot drink and stroll through Neskowin Village. This is very child friendly area with no busy roads or crowds of people.

Enjoyed our stay at the beach

The house is right next to the beach and you can see Proposal rock. Beautiful views! Our kids love the loft bedroom space but it is open to the downstairs, so you might need to be quiet if your kids are younger and go to bed earlier. We enjoyed seeing some deer that came right outside the house. It is nearby Neskowin Provisions where you can get a nice breakfast. Overall enjoyed our stay!

We had such a nice time at the Neskowin house. We came with young kids and the yard and proximity to the creek were so nice for them. We’d love to come and stay again sometime.

We loved this house, especially the location. Booked during the shoulder season and basically had semi-private beach access the entire trip. Our two dogs had a great time too. Will absolutely be back!

Everything a beach house should be!

Great location right by the beach and Proposal Rock. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we appreciated the little extras like flossers and Q-tips in the bathroom. Loved relaxing on the cozy loveseat with an ocean view. There's not a lot of dining options directly in Neskowen, but nearby Lincoln City and Pacific City have plenty to choose from. Spending a few nights here was just what we needed to unwind and celebrate our anniversary.

A great place to relax

This property is a piece of paradise; mature trees and shrubs, a side yard, a huge deck, and a path to the beach just steps from the sliding glass door. The place was very clean when we arrived. One of the first things we look for is a coffee maker so we can get a pot ready for the next morning! We appreciated the feeling of privacy as it seemed half the homes in the neighborhood were empty at the time we were there. The beach wasn't overly busy either so we could take leisurely walks with our dog. The kitchen was well stocked, and we found everything we needed to prepare a fresh seafood dinner. We slept comfortably and appreciated the washer and dryer so we could do laundry during our stay.

Quintessential Oregon Coast...

By far, one of the best locations we have ever stayed on the coast--no crowds! It is close to both the more popular Pacific City and the populated Lincoln City for nearby restaurants and attractions, but nothing really can beat the wonder and beauty of Neskowin. The house sits at the edges of Neskowin Creek, the beach, and Proposal Rock. During low tide, we explored the tide pools around Proposal Rock and saw lots of sea anemones! Our 4-year-old and 10-year-old girls love the kids' space upstairs. We had experienced all sorts of weather- wind, rain, sunshine, and crisp-frosty mornings; the house was warm and cozy through it all. This was our second time staying here, and we will be back again and again!

What makes this property unique

No need to step away from the cabin to enjoy being at the Oregon coast, the view from the living room is great for all seasons. The house is warm and cozy with the option of the wood stove on a gloomy day, yet the large deck and fire pit are great for hanging out during drier times. With a gated entrance the beach access feels like a private beach.
