Beautiful view from the great room. Cottage was very clean. We did not stay there very much as we were in the area for a wedding. Would definitely go back when we had more time to just hang out on the docks.
A nice fairly remote cottage with awesome views of the lake. Check-in was smooth and we quickly found everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Cottage was was clean and ready for us to enjoy the weekend even though we booked it last minute. Christa responded quickly and was easy to get a hold of during our stay. Appreciated Jeremy checking-in with us to make sure we were comfortable!
We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage! The dock is huge and can accommodate everyone, there are plenty of kayaks (including 2x kid sit on tops) plus life jackets for everyone. There's lots of kid toys (trucks, diggers etc) plus a little sandy area for them to play in. The water is fantastic, it drops off so there are no weeds or issues with jumping off the dock, plus there's a little shallow area for kids to play and catch minnows. The bunkie is a nice addition for those guests that want a quiet space away from the main cottage. The cottage itself is well set up with a basement that kids can play in (foosball, pingpong, and a Wii with lots of games). The main floor has lots of games and a comfortable area for sitting (plus a tv with a bunch of DVDs for raining days). The kitchen is very well equipment with tons of dishes (both regular and plastic for at the dock) and lots of utensils. The water isn't drinkable, but they provide 4-5 large jugs, plus the community water fill station is a short drive into Dunchurch and very convenient. There's a nice deck right off the main floor with a patio table that was nice for outdoor meals. The upstairs bedrooms are a good size, although they are "loft style" so no ceiling on them so they are technically open to the main area (they have walls and doors, just the ceiling is open). The one drawback to this place is the upstairs bedroom might have the squeakiest bed in existence! Otherwise this was a fantastic place to stay!!!
This was a great cottage for a fall weekend away with friends. The place was well equipped and we enjoyed the fireplace and pool table. We did a day trip to Killbear Provincial Park and Parry Sound, which are a short drive away. Definitely recommend.
All in all was a. Great experience!! Decided to book last minute everything went smoothly . Only complaint was that we wish we coulda used the wood stove
This cottage checked all our boxes and then some! Beautiful waterfront views, tons for kids to do on and off the water, clean, private, all the essentials of home made it easy to settle in and just relax! Booking with Christa was so easy she was very helpful, We will definitely be returning!
It was a pleasent stay at this whitestone cottage.
Place is beutifully built. Lake water is clean.
Marina and boat launch is little far but great.
Just a recommendation to host to install exhaust where ever require and need little touch up in the basement.
Overall its a great place for the group upto 8 people.
Tous des 4 ou 5. Experience summary: cottage was clean, well equipped, and comfortable. Owners were very helpful and communicative. Building is very interesting, and the fireplace makes for a cosy winter getaway. The only drawback for our family is that the upstairs bedrooms did not have enclosed/separated ceilings, which meant we needed to be quiet and dim the lights until the kids fell asleep.
