The fully stocked kitchen offers a chance to entertain or just dine by the fire, while the resort and surrounding community provide numerous delicious dining options and a wealth of opportunities for the active visitor.

Step outside into the deciduous forest and find yourself just steps away from Topnotch Resort's entrance. The resort's 23,000 square-foot spa is secluded on 120 untouched acres and includes saunas, steam rooms, whirlpools, a 60-foot lap pool, a hydro massage waterfall, aerobics classes, cardiovascular/weight training studios, face and body treatments, beauty salons, and more. Topnotch's world-class tennis center and Stowe's great skiing are just minutes away and are among the multitude of activities found at this destination. Whether you're a family of explorers wanting to rent bikes for a cruise around the many local bike paths, or a gourmand wanting to check out the latest microbrewery, Stowe, Spruce Peak, and Topnotch have got you covered.

Good location, place was essentially as advertised, though a little tired. Two noted points: 1) the beds in the upstairs bedrooms were collapsed in the middle of the mattress, probably past their useful lives, 2) no heat in the upstairs master bathroom was a significant disappointment.
