Nice

This is our 4th year renting at Pelican Pointe. The location is awesome. We drive in and don’t have to move our car until it’s time to go back home. We walk EVERYWHERE!

Pelican Pointe

We did not have a balcony view. Our room was in a stairwell. Not happy about that.

Hi Karen. Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent stay. We are sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations regarding the room location. As mentioned in our Vrbo listing, our studio rooms are designed to be our most economical option and, thus, do not include a balcony. We apologize for any misunderstanding or miscommunication regarding this. We offer a variety of room types to accommodate different preferences and budgets. Please know that had we been made aware of your concerns during your stay, we would have done our best to address them, including exploring potential upgrade options based on availability. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide you with a more enjoyable experience.

Late cancel .

.sorry for the no-show, Anita. I broke my hand, had to have surgery and couldn’t travel. I hope it was no inconvenience considering the property retained the entire payment in full.

Great location, clean establishment. Good service.

Great location, walking distance to everything. Beach is across the street. Desk staff was very nice and whole place was clean. Only thing at all that we did not enjoy was the smoking area in lower lobby where ping pong table is. Everything else was wonderful!

Just ok

you could hear everything in the next room so hard to relax, have private time. Also, a domestic disturbance next door during our first night.

Best location for economical stay

Room was clean and though small, met our needs. The ad had us expecting pool or beach views from the unit, which was not the case. But location was perfect for our “sister-vacation”, actually 240 steps from the property to the beautiful public beach.

Hello Sandra. Thank you for taking the time to post a review of our property. We do apologize if you thought you were booking a different room type. As we had previously spoken, the ad for our studio room does not state that there is a view. Our studio rooms are the most economical way to enjoy Clearwater Beach as they do not have a view. If you decide to stay with us again, may we suggest that you try one of our standard rooms or double suites. Both of these rooms will have a shared balcony with a view. We look forward to welcoming you back soon!

Great

This property was great! Ice ice ice cold ac, no bugs, friendly staff only a 5 min walk to the beach a 10min walk to pier 60. It is on the little older side so does need like fresh paint and minor stuff like that but soooo worth the price will definitely be staying here again! Literally 5 min from the crazy nice hotels but half the price so if your like me and would rather spend your money doing stuff then this is a great option.
