Listen to the sounds of the cascading waterfall while sitting on the deck of our cheerful little cabin. Enjoy a soothing soak in our four-person hot tub after a day of adventure in the village of Black Mountain (8 miles), downtown Asheville (8.1 miles), the Biltmore Estate (12.7 miles) or hiking the Blue Ridge Parkway (8 miles).

Brett's Falling Waters Cabin is ideal for singles, couples or small families who want to enjoy semi-rustic comfort in a mountain setting not too far from hiking trails, scenic drives, restaurants and the amenities of Black Mountain and downtown Asheville. Two bedrooms each with a Queen size bed and one bathroom with shower, our cabin can accommodate up to 4 guests (including children) and 2 pets. Nest controlled heat and central air conditioning and a cozy gas log firebox lends ambiance to the Living Room with Smart TV and free WIFI. Enjoy the eat-in kitchen with gas stove, microwave, dishwasher and full-size ice maker refrigerator as well as front loading HE clothes washer and dryer. The driveway is gravel, level, and accessible by any vehicle. 4-wheel drive is not needed.

Answers to Frequent Questions: Cabin cleaning includes a sanitizing scrub out and fresh spring water refill of the hot tub between each guest as per NC Health Department requirements. The hot tub is located on the gated front porch.

Brett's Falling Waters Cabin sustained minor damage due to Hurricane Helene. The driveway and the waterfall have been rebuilt, and re-landscaping is an ongoing project.

While Swannanoa downtown recovers from Hurricane Helene, the nearest grocery store is Ingles Market in Black Mountain, 8 miles from the cabin. It has a full-service pharmacy, extended shopping hours, self-checkout, and accepts major credit cards.

Black Mountain has many wonderful stores and restaurants; we can personally recommend the Black Mountain Bistro, Trailhead Restaurant and Bar, Que Sera, Pure and Proper and the Dripolator Coffeehouse. Also recommended is Ole Guacamole, Veranda Cafe, Berliner Kindl, Fresh Wood Fired Pizza and the Bush Farmhouse.

Remove personal items
Turn off the lights
All bedroom linens may be left on the beds; towels may be left in the bathroom shower. Wash and clear kitchen sink of all dishes, utensils, pots and pans used during your stay.
Take out all kitchen and other trash to the garbage cans under the deck in basement. Clean up all pet refuse in yard and driveway.
Place both covers on the Hot Tub. Close all windows and use keypad lock symbol to lock both front and back doors.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Rental of this property is governed by the provisions of the North Carolina Vacation Rental Act. Payment of monies constitutes contract acceptance.
Max of 4 persons, including children of any age. Max of 2 daytime guests. No Parties, Events or Groups of any kind.
Guest agrees to be responsible for damages to the premises resulting from the action or inaction of the Guest. Vacation insurance is recommended.

My sister and I staet at Brett's Cabin for Thanksgiving. It was lovely! The dogs loved nosing around the creek and waterfalls and the gas powered fireplace inside was a GAME CHANGER! Really, really enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to return!

By far my favorite VRBO property I've ever stayed in. Very clean! Bed was so comfortable and we got really good rest. The waterfall was so peaceful and we loved listening to the waterfall while having a fire going in the background. Hot tub was a plus! Great hiking trail behind the property, especially for a great sunset view. Easy and scenic access to Asheville and the Blueridge Parkway. I can't say enough good things about this property. It was truly a gem and one of the best vacations I've had.

Quiet quaint mountain cabin. Well stocked kitchen and great hot tub. Nice fire pit for the cool crisp nights. Gas grill was nice for cooking out during our stay. The waterfall added a nice touch while enjoying our morning coffee out on the front covered porch.

Brett’s falling waters cabin

Peaceful serene, alpha waves from the nearby ford waterfalls over the access road was quite pleasant from the side wooden porch. Saw Black bears 4 out of 6 days we stayed. Jacuzzi on the side porch made for many nice times and a great vacation.
Calamba Falls 15 miles a way and a great moderate hike.

Beautiful piece of property and a clean quaint cabin. One slight issue, there was an odor of either the septic vent or the gas fireplace that I was sensitive to and we had to keep the windows open most of the time. Luckily the temperatures were mild. The owner was extremely nice and responsive.

Conveniently located to both Asheville and Black Mtn-Blueridge Parkway this is a cozy 2 br cabin. It has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The only reason i didn give 5 stars is b/c the hot tub took basically a day and a half to get up to temperature.

We loved the cabin and the amazing waterfall. Perfectly situated between Asheville and Black Mountain, easy access to chimney rock, lake lure, hiking and other waterfalls. We had an amazing time, and plan to spend anniversaries here. Owners were super helpful!

We are Bob and Lorna, retired from Northern Virginia. We have had our own home in Swannanoa for more than 25 years and love the mountains. We enjoy travelling, scuba diving and visits from our children and grandchildren. Our cabin was named by its original owner, Lorna's father Brett.

First offered for vacation rental on VRBO in 2005, the property and amenities of the cabin are updated on an ongoing basis to ensure the continuing comfort and enjoyment of our guests. Our Bee Tree Valley neighborhood includes a church, a working sawmill and horse farm. The Cabin is equidistant to downtown Black Mountain and Asheville and is 25 minutes from the gorgeous Biltmore Estate. Come enjoy the serenity of our mountains!
