The view of the ocean was spectacular as was watching the sun rise. The condo is beautiful with 4 BRs and 3 full baths. Each room has a TV. The kitchen is fully stocked so all you gave to bring us your food. Loved it!!!!

View of ocean after we cleaned sliding glass doors ourselves was beautiful! Sitting on balcony relaxing after sweeping winter debris and cleaning winter grime off of chairs. Washer did not work and needs repair or replacement before property is occupied again.

Nice layout and views

The home is well equipped and nicely furnished. The bathrooms are very nice. The downside is that the Vacasa cleaning staff do not do a good job. The floors were filthy, mold in the recently renovated bathrooms, stains on the walls, filthy filter in the HVAC, stained master bedspread and very dirty ceiling fan in family room. Also, the loft is very hot with no airflow. The ceiling fan is not enough to cool the area. Maybe much of this is due to renting at the end of the high season. However, we paid a lot of money to stay for two weeks and expected at least a clean place.

Good Vibes Overall

We’ve been going to Sea Colony for 1-2 weeks each summer for over 35 years, so I have many experiences to draw upon to make a valid review. To begin, the condo is nicely decorated, and has an airy feeling to it when you first walk in. It’s bright and cheerful, other than the window coverings in the two guest rooms on the first floor (more on that later). Overall, though, the condo has good vibes! All of the bathrooms were beautifully done, and the showers have good water pressure for those who value that info. The Master bedroom was spacious. However, the guest rooms are fairly small (ish)….especially the room with the French doors and the loft. It was very difficult to walk around the bed to use the closet and dresser in the room with the French doors. And, as previously mentioned, the window coverings in this room are dark and heavy. They make the room feel smaller and a little depressing when closed….not very “beachy.” In the loft, if you use both of the trundles, then expect to be walking on each other to move around. Very tight quarters. Speaking of the loft, you need to be careful when using the spiral staircase, as the railing is plastic and very wobbly. At some point, one of two things will happen: a guest will lean on it and fall (lawsuit these days), or a guest will just lean on it and break it (damage fee). Neither scenario is fun for anyone. The kitchen was also modern and cheery, with all new appliances, even down to the blender and cookware. We have stayed in some places where such things have been heavily used/old and not very appealing to make use of for the family. The balcony has a beautiful view, but it is between buildings so it is limited to seeing the beach and pool….again, still a beautiful view, but worth a mention for those who like to have a panoramic view. Two plastic chairs await you, but no table. Truth be told, the balcony is a little disappointing and not very comfortable/welcoming. Finally, and directed to the property management company, please take a little more time cleaning. When we looked under the sofa cushions to see if it was a sleeper, it clearly had not been vacuumed. There was a bunch of sand, in addition to a dirty sock. The stairs to the loft were also sandy, and there were also crumbs on the stovetop and in the microwave. Again, positive vibes throughout the condo and it was well worth the visit. Oh, and the owners kindly left a gift card to DD! Thank you!!

Nicely renovated and well decorated beachside condo with great views, close walk to restaurants, bars, boardwalk, Dunkin’ Donuts, CVS, etc. Parking was easy and fitness center has good equipment and amenities (including two Pelotons, an indoor pool and a sauna). Highly recommend!

Before I give my review quick advice for new comers: There aren’t obvious #s on the condos, this will have a black screen door, it’s 4 units down from the back. Also parking spaces are ordered really strangely, yours will be very close to the elevator on the left end of a row. Now for the review. I stayed in Sea Colony on trips growing up so decided to pick this place for our first family trip with our 2 year old and 4 year old. Being right on the beach was perfect for kids and one thing I forgot about Sea colony which helps with diapers - trash chute! Trash chute makes it easy to keep the place clean while staying. All that and this place is very nicely updated with nice appliances. And they don’t requires as much cleaning as an Airbnb. Basically load dishwasher, clear trash, set temp and that’s it! This made for a PERFECT first family beach trip. We will be back!!!

904 Farragut Penthouse is the best unit I’ve ever stayed in Sea Colony, it is completely renovated with no expenses spared. The beds are very comfortable and the view from the Living room and Master Bedroom is amazing. I’ve already booked my stay for next year. You can’t go wrong with with this unit.

We have been coming to Bethany for years but it can be tough to find an updated rental. This condo has been updated beautifully. The finishes are nice and they were thoughtful with the details. In addition the couch and beds were actually comfortable! I highly recommend it.

Wonderful location

The pictures of the property did not do the condo justice. It was very very nice! Location was perfect! Parking was horrible! Two parking passes, one reserved spot and the second pass was for an unreserved space. Good luck with that but certainly not a deal breaker. Just an inconvenience. But my biggest complaint was I booked the condo through VRBO and paid a VRBO fee. Then the rental company contacted me within 24 hours at which time I had to pay their rental fee. Now I’m in for two fees. However the rental company were the ones who kept me informed from that time on with the contract, check in information etc. I would suggest going through the rental company if you want to save a few hundred dollars.
