Super nice place to stay with fenced in back yard for pets which helped us out tremendously. Owner was fantastic helping us out when our German Shepherd had a bad accident. She found us a vet super quick and was willing to help us with the check out procedure. Very quiet with great nice front and back porches.
We rented this cottage to celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary. The cottage was so beautiful and cozy. The decorations were beyond awesome. We lived the seclusion of the cottage. We would highly recommend this cottage and would love to return. The only thing missing is a hot tub.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. I love to decorate for all the holidays and seasons. As far as the hot tub, it has been purchased just waiting for installation!
This cabin is tucked back in the woods off of a paved road but literally just minutes from Mena. It made getting supplies easy. Then we drove beautiful county roads to the Wolf Pen Gap trails on the side x side. Found several places to swim/wade in the cool, clear water. We seen a cave and a place where there was a natural spring coming out of the mountain to a spillway. There were deer everywhere and I think there is a family of 4 with two babies that still had their spots living near the cabin. We seen them more than once. Had a visit from a raccoon overnight at the cabin. The side x side had paw prints and a few buttons pushed. Sure would like to know what that raccoon was thinking. All in all it was a wonderful stay and we would recommend this place to others.
My dog Clyde and I had a wonderful time staying in the little yellow house in the woods! The house was cozy and Clyde especially loved the fenced in backyard.
Stayed for the weekend with my husband and stepdaughter. The house was so cute and perfectly decorated for fall. We had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Had a great time relaxing in the cabin. Enjoyed the nice fenced in back yard. Nice & quiet. Enjoyed my morning coffee on the back porch. Nice that it not only had a coffee pot but also had a Kuric. Enjoyed the 2 neighbors dogs. Greeted us every morning & we would return from day trips.
This place is perfect for 2 people! Well stocked and clean home. The kitchen is well stocked and the amenities all work well. The one big draw back for me is the lack of internet and phone reception at this location. Loved the secluded back yard. Will return every chance we get to this cabin.
My wife and I was very impressed with this little place, very quiet and private location and far from some really good hiking trails,we had everything we needed .
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed and then some. We really enjoyed hiking the mountain trails nearby. We had a truly relaxing time at the cabin...
I took my fiancé on a trip to Arkansas to ride ATVs in the National Forest there. This cabin was perfect for what we needed. The owner was responsive, the cabin was clean, WIFI worked great, it was isolated back in the trees. She even had firewood in the back for if we wanted to build a fire. Driveway was long and a bit steep, which wasn’t an issue for our vehicle, but maybe something to be aware of if you have a vehicle less capable.
My husband and I went to a bike rally in Mina I had ask her before hand because the pictures looked like you were out in the woods so I ask her is it safe to take her bike there.? She said yes. As we were driving down the dirt road it got very very steep and the back so I got off of the bike with my husband and his back we all started sliding down the gravel road. She did let us drive there a mule back-and-forth we had to park the bike in their carport which is up the hill it had no Internet which we did not know so there was no certain phone service we couldn’t get the weather on the TV and she knew this before hand but we were notified when we arrived after the fact the next day. She took off $20 a day from my bill for no Internet

This was the first time renting the cabin and when I spoke to you on the phone I told you I felt like it would be safe but that it was steep so I wasn't sure. That we had not had a motorcycle in there. I told you to stop at our house and I would follow you down to make sure you felt safe riding down the hill. I opened the cabin earlier than I had planned because we had several people in town that were displaced in our small town looking for a place to stay and driving up to 85 miles one way everyday. As for the WiFi it was supposed to be installed before your arrival but the installer changed the date and has since been installed and in complete working order. There is a cell phone booster at the cabin and a new cell tower going up at the end of our road. I have received and made calls and text from the cabin as did our next guest who called me from the cabin but it depends on your carrier for we are in rural Arkansas. Not every carrier has towers close.
