My husband and I have been married 29 years and have two grown daughters, and 2 grandsons. We are history buffs, college football fans and enjoy hiking and spending time in our other vacation rental, Angled Pine A-Frame, only a 20 minute drive from Gettysburg.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this home in July of 2020 and converted it into the Blue Coat Cottage. We are huge history buffs so purchasing a home in Gettysburg was a dream come true. It's especially fun to share our love of this area with others through the cottage.

What makes this property unique

The cottage sits directly across from Marsh Creek. This is the very waterway that General Robert E. Lee retreated over July 4, 1863 in a driving rain. It's a beautiful, serene area rich in history.
